I also played a demo of "Kutna Hora" at PAX Unplugged and immediately knew that I needed to pick up a copy. Just played a three-player game last week. It very much deserves the praise it's been getting.
Hey guys, at 34:43, you are not supposed to do the event on the bottom. (moving the cards) that happens end of the round before taxes. Only a red tax marker in upper left corner of event card is done immediately after flipping the event. Page 16 of rules, bottom.

I wholeheartedly agree that this game is fantastic. Great decisions, without all the unnecessary complexity that tends to 1) make the wait for my next turn just too long and 2) makes understanding board state and tableaus of other players impossible.
Hi, is the audio broken or is it just my Roku app having problems with it? Or does the audio straighten out after the first few minutes?
No I have it too. I think it’s oversteering but I only hear it on his side. She sounds fine.

Thanks for the video. As always, your play through and positive review has piqued my interest. Was wondering about the quality of the resource costs - as it looks like Frances had difficulties with the sliders, was wondering if they have longevity. Saw you from afar at Pax and almost went up to introduce myself - but didn't want to intrude. Thanks for all you do...
Always come say hi! It’s never an intrusion. I had difficulty with the sliders because they were almost too well constructed. I think over time, they may become easier to slide (plus you get the hang of it). They are thick cardboard, with notches to keep them in place. You have to sort of lift them up and out then slide, which was tough to do for me without picking them up completely. In all, very well constructed.

At 55:14 you forgot to increase tax by 3 from event card.
I was very curious to hear your thoughts on this game. I played four full turns of the game at PAX on Saturday and enjoyed it, but it's a game I feel that I don't need to own, but would enjoy playing. There were a couple of misses for me as a developer, including the "calculator,", which was fine, but could have been much smoother, and the guilds which were a touch wonky. Finally, I really didn't like the fact that when you flipped the tile, you no longer know what you've built...all of the information is only on one side. I don't know Frances' go-to games, but she was very happy with this one. Love to get this one on the table with you at the café! Cheers, Joe

My initial impression is similarly enthusiastic.
I have seen some people frustrated with not knowing the exact market effect of their action, though for me it's quite the opposite - I hope I never learn the progression of prices.

Its not plastic its re-wood. wood waste and recycled binding material.
yes, a very interesting development, essentially allowing the use of injection mould techniques used in plastic, to be used with more eco material. The level of detail surprised me.
Game looks great but Ant please drop the input gain on your mic. It's clipping the bass for the entire video. I had to drop out of the video in round 2 because the sound's driving me nuts and I can't unhear it..
