The US version of Lethal enforcers is pretty impossible, it's best to farm some score in order to earn some life ups before facing the final boss. The Japanese version of this final boss goes into offensive but weaker and aggressive, in the US version of this final boss is brutally defensive and stronger.
@@ThunderMarco911 Yeah, the boss doesn't get stunned at all in the original US Release! They actually rebalanced it for Europe and Japan. I don't think the US version is actually possible on default settings. It has to be on rank Easy.
@@kyokusagani8869 The US version hiten's combat helicopter sacrifies his offensive tactics to have an insanely strong defensive tactics. However, when we destroy the missile turrets, first the machine gun will shoot us only once and not continous like the japanese version. It seems in the US version has limited ammo but is heavily buffed up, in the japanese version has unlimited ammo but more feeble. The best weapon in Lethal enforcers is rifle, however, the US version is capable to fend off our rifle in hardest settings.
@ThunderMarco911 Fascinating! There's a limit to how many lives the machine gun can take? I thought you just unavoidably lost there no matter what. This warrants more research, since you've done yours!
@@kyokusagani8869 2 as minimun from combat helicopter's machine gun and 2 minimun from hiten, it would be 4 lost lives in total, 3 if the combat helicopter's machine gun is spared but it shoot only once, it only shoots 15 times, 14 for attacking it and one after taking out combat helicopter's missile turrets when Hiten approach us. I had to use the savestates in order to do this experiments and seeing how hard this game goes. The combat helicopter's machine gun can take no more than 14 hits in the hardest mode. I theorize that only two players can do no damage run, it sounds almost impossible.
The default Extra Life Rate is every 2000. I played with every 1000. USA is doable by a TAS, but i don't think a human will do it anytime soon. You MUST be absolutely perfect.
Wait, you can actually hit the cockpit? I thought the proper way to beat the boss is to destroy all the weapons first, then go after the pilot. Is this only in the arcade version? Or is this only in the Japanese version?
Konami actually reworked this boss to make it doable in the European and Japanese versions. In the USA version, the cockpit stays open permanently and you're FORCED to lose 4 lives!! It's very likely a Japanese player already 1cc'd in 1992.
@@kyokusagani8869 I see. Is this only in the arcade versions, though? But honestly, I don't mind that change. I want my final boss long, epic, and challenging.
@@SolCresta3405 It's not. the change was applied to all console versions + The megadrive version gives you way more time to shoot the bottom turret before it takes a life away. It kept the balance changes of the overseas versions.
@@kyokusagani8869 Even the PlayStation version? Because usually I destroy the railgun first, then the landing gear, then the bottom engines, then the top engine, and then I focus on one missile launcher at a time before taking out the pilot. I understand the landing gear and engines being optional, but I don’t understand why the railgun is optional too even though it can hurt you.
@@SolCresta3405 admittingly i'm not too sure about the PS1 port, I know the megadrive port the best since i played that on Kega fusion with mouse support.
damn kyo you got that situation under control
Love this!!!
Nice one Kyo

Do you think the USA release might ever be 1CCed? I don't recall how many extra lives, if any, one could earn along the way here.
