I installed a Benks privacy screen protector and removed it about 2 hours later. Benks S24 Ultra privacy screen protector does not work in any way with the finger print scanner. It looks almost exactly like this one, with the small black ring around the front camera, etc. I may try this one and see if it works for me. Thanks for the review.
Great video. I got the same screen protector. What an easy install. No bubbles. Fantastic. The provacy screen is a dream. If you haven't had a privacy screen before it takes some getting used to. I was sharing something with a friend on my screen the other day and I coudln't see what was on the screen while I was showing the screen to them haha. My own fault. When you are scrolling on the train - the person beside youj doesn't get to watch your feed. I know the anti reflective coating is lost and it is amazing on this phone but the trade is the privacy which I will take instead. The ESR installation guide is a dream too. Got an ESR magsafe case which si tremendous as well!! I havhe had to redo my fingerprints thoiugh. It is working fine but I was a bit concerned. Totally recomend - and our video really helped!!! I got mine today. The installation was fairly easy, and this tutorial certainly helped. I do notice some level of screen brightness dimming, but on the other hand, I think the contrast is better now. As far as the privacy function is concerned, I was hoping for better results to be honest. The lateral view starts to get blocked from around 45 degrees I'd say, and definitely not 28-30 as advertised. And if the content is very bright and your in a dark environment, someone can still see what's on your screen pretty well, I mean not exactly clearly, but still. The protector never blocks your screen 100%. I'd try a different one just to compare, but maybe they're all the same after all.
I think the black mat is to stop the phone from moving around while fitting the protector. Nice review. Have you tried the Spigen Ez Fit Glass Screen Protector 🤔 It's super nice to fit.
Great install video. Just ordered these because I was sick of a static caused by my current screen protector, thing is a dust magnet! I do hope ESR or someone comes out with an equally anti-reflective screen protector because the naked screen is oh so nice.
Does it prevent against smudge and fingerprints? My current one does pretty good job at privacy part but the fingerprint and smudge it retains from a few taps is insane and that is what sending me ovr🤦🏻♂️ help!!

Hello, after a new screen protector for S24 Ultra, bought a Zagg Xtr 3 after watching reviews it is awful full of scratches . I was going to buy a Torras one but came across this video of yours. Have you had any issues with scratches etc on tbe protector.
Are you still using the ESR privacy screen protector? How much would you recommend, I'm looking for one that isn't going to cost me an arm an a leg. What's the difference in how bright the phone is using a privacy protector compared to a transparent one?
Does the privacy screen protector cover the camera as well? I see there is a front camera hole, but does it cover the phone with transparent glass or is it a cut out hole?
Man I am really wanting to use these protectors but across the board on ESR website the reviews say the fingerprints do not work even after reprogramming or fail more often than not. I'm torn. I use fingerprints more often than I do passcodes. I need someone to change my mind so I order it. 😀 I really want this one to be the one that works for me. I have already sent 3 others back.
I talked myself into it lol. Someone said to leave Touch sensitivity OFF until after the glass is put on. Once put on ditch your current finger prints, register new ones, put new ones in and then enable Sensitivity
@PaulRankinYT The only way the fingerprints work for me is if I lick my fingers first, then apply pressure to the screen. Dry fingerprints refuse to open mine up. I do love the case and privacy screen, though. And I 100% feel as though it is NOT a screen protector issue as much as it is a Samsung needs to fix their scanner issues.
I applied this to my 24 ultra but the protector for some reason didnt align properly, its slightly off by the corner of the screen lol am wondering if i should just take it off and start over? Or should i just leave it?
Ive gone through 2 spigen protectors and a magif john pack. The spigen were absolute garbage abd the magic john ones started to lift on theor own. I guess i have to gove these a try and see if they work any better.
I know the Anti Reflective Coating. Loses effect... But my real question... Is IF SOMEDAY I peel off the Privacy Film... Does the Adhesive peel off/Damage the Anti Reflect Coat?.. To be clear... Reverting-to No privacy film... Is the factory coating still there?.. Thanks
I can't tell for sure if this particular screen protector is safe, but I used to have a regular film screen protector on my S24 Ultra, and after I removed it after 3 months of usage the anti-reflective coating was absolutely fine. So, in theory, good quality screen protectors shouldn't damage your phone anti-reflective coating. But take it on your own risk
Send it back I showed how good mine is on this video, Another good test is put your arm to the left or right as if someone else was holding it and see if you can see anything

I show it working by in the video and this protector is still on my phone now, no issues here at all
It works but make sure touch sensitivity is on and make sure your thumb is directly on the scanner

I got the esr tempered screen protector but returned it because it was utter rubbish. Even with sensitivity high the fingerprint reader never worked.
Must of changed it for the private one as it works flawlessly
