I live in Japan, and I think like you guys, that in Korea or here, most people wouldnt speak up. That's why groping on public trains is so common, why bullying in schools is an epidemic (teachers KNOW and HEAR and SEE bullying and nothing is done. They say it has happened in the teachers room (I know I'm a teacher) but then no consequences are done)) or domestic violence been done in public and everyone "minds their business" when they actually shouldnt. It's a very big problem and I wish something was done about it.
I get it I been living in Korea for 4 years now. If I see bullying I'm not leaving it alone. I was never that kind of person to stand by and just watch it happen. Even I have been teaching all my students they wouldn't like it so they shouldn't do it. The changes in my classroom were phenomenal, some students who felt like they were picked on now have a voice.
@@solus8685 one of my teachers in high school in Sweden got involved when the whole class isolated, hit and bullied me and it got me suicidal. She talked to every student, every parent, brought me to the school therapist every week. She even taught everyone the negative impact of bullying and made a big ruckus about it. Even though I was ashamed back then and it's been over ten years, I'll never forget the person who brought me back the will to live. She helped me out of a bad situation at home too. That woman changed a lot for not just me but others, though I worried she took everything to heart. There's some really cool teachers out there.

There was one of these episodes where they staged women getting roofied, but one was dressed 'modestly' and the other woman was dressed 'provocatively' Both the women were treated completley differently in the same scenario, it was eye opening to me how people acted so nonchalant about 'well she dressed that way so she had it coming"... When that soldier at the end talked about defending everyone's inalienable rights, I cried. Much of America is so lost right now. I feel better knowing that there are going to be people like that soldier out there, doing the right thing.
Glad it wasn't just me who was tearing up. For as many bad cops or military men there are, there's just as many, if not more, soldiers and cops who truly believe in making the world a better place. I know so many soldiers who are advocating for military reform from within as well to prevent bad people from getting away with stuff like this, whether they're wearing a uniform or are a civilian. I think America has lost its way, but being an American means being brave enough to continue to fight until we're back on the right path again, and continuing to press towards true freedom for all. Bless this soldier for standing for America's real principles.
I understand you 100%. I think people can psychically see their religion just like ones race so maybe that's why they group it in that way. A lot of the world is too judgemental of what they can immediately see and selfishly believe. People have rights and people have hearts which give them feelings just like any other human so they don't deserve that ♥️

@@leoheartstrings4720 I served navy and thankfully our training wasn’t that way when I went through it. Off colored jokes sometimes, but at the end of the day most of the mindsets were open. Especially when it came to serious situations. If any of my close friends thought the man in this scenarios was serious they would have checked him real fast. Probably wouldn’t have been as heartfelt though. More like telling that guy to stop being a POS and get lost if he had such a problem buying some damn chips from someone. Haha

Those who have to make tough choices...it does make a difference, even if its keeping the freedoms we have, when there are so many others around the world that sadly don't have such freedoms. True, some in the military are horrible, but I won't lump them all in the same trash heap. What that soldier said is true...most men and women join to keep their families safe and to protect the freedoms we have. So to his family, he is a big hero to them. The soldier is right, freedom of religion is a right. I will save that one in my memory in case I ever need to defend somebody. I'm a foreigner living in America but I look and sound like a native so I am always ready to step up if I overhear anything. If I ever hear "go back to your country" to someone else I will battle them with words and bring out all kinds of stubborn. I'm the oldest sibling in my family so if it's one thing I grew up doing it was standing up against bullies for those that couldn't stand up for themselves.
If someone told me that I’m “too fat to eat that” I would throw my plate of food at them and tell them they’re too scummy to eat at such a fancy place.

This brings back memories omg i was shaking while watching these episodes. When i was in college we did a social experiment on a graduation ceremony day with families all over the campus. I stole someone's laptop and the father really chased after me. I'm a girl so of course i got terrified. They didn't believe me even after my friend who was filming everything came out, because they thought it was my "backup plan" in case i failed. The owner of the laptop (my guy friend) came back so late, i panicked while trying to call him to come back before the family call the police. They only loosen up after my guy friend returned. I used to love watching social experiments a lot but since then, watching them gave me shivers :'D

I'm a bigger girl, not obese, but I've definitely got some chunk to me, and one of my favourite restaurants to go to with my sister is an East Asian place that offers "all you can eat". I'm a sucker for Korean BBQ, seafood tempura, and sesame chicken, it's usually a monthly thing my sister and I do. And I always feel so self conscious about how much of the food on the table is mine, EVERY time I go. I always feel like other customers are staring at me behind my back and talking shit about how much I'm eating. It's always the other white people, I have never received looks from the Asian employees or customers, only from other white people. So hearing you girls say "who cares how much you eat at All You Can Eat" just....made me smile

I have grown up with two moms who love me immensely and I have sadly heard so many hurtful things aimed at me and them. Modern family was the first time I saw my family represented in mainstream media. That was a huge thing for me and my family.

Hearing you girls be so sweet about the "all you can eat" makes me so happy. I'm a bigger girl, not obese, but I've definitely got some chunk to me, and one of my favourite restaurants to go to with my sister is an East Asian place that offers "all you can eat". I'm a sucker for Korean BBQ, seafood tempura, and sesame chicken, it's usually a monthly thing my sister and I do. And I always feel so self conscious about how much of the food on the table is mine, EVERY time I go. I always feel like other customers are staring at me behind my back and talking shit about how much I'm eating. It's always the other white people, I have never received looks from the Asian employees or customers, only from other white people. So hearing you girls say "who cares how much you eat at All You Can Eat" just....made me smile
