    They ask because they want to make sure that you are genuine muslim because i've seen lots of non muslim foreigners who give salam to the muslims. As far as i know, we non-muslim Malaysians don't give salam to other muslims except normal greetings.

    Bro, dont be mad if u give salam, n ppl say are u are muslim..just said it nicely u are muslim. some ppl maybe ask even u give salam just to make sure u are true muslim or not bec i see some others foreigner in malaysia their are not muslim but also give salam 👌

      @@TravelingSoloLogs Literally just saying hi to a waiter or someone out and they don't believe it initially when they say they're also Muslim. Then they say their name and they get on. Some people just a bit sceptical at first but then can open up.

    Solo you've been to Malaysia twice now. Common why dont you venture to Kota Bharu in Kelantan state or Kuala Trengganu in Trengganu state on the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. You will find loads of delicious traditional food and beautiful east coast cities there. Lots of interesting contents for yr vlogg too and beautiful beaches. You can take the luxury coaches or express buses or flight. Salam and stay well.

      This is the Saturday night market located in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (Jln TAR a shopping district). Not far from Kampung Baru.

    they poured liquid nitrogen into it. a few years back the were burnt cases where the liquid nitrogen trapped in the food didn't evaporate.

    Well Solo.. nowadays there are many non-muslims who greet us with Assalamualaikum... we can't tell the difference for sure.. and when we meet a muslim foreigner we can only be so happy to meet our new brother/sister. Hence the direct question, "Are you a muslim?". Pardon us.. don't get annoyed please.

    Some of them ask if you muslim probably coz they are curious...you looks like Arab but speak English without Arabic Accent...normally Arab people accent quite thick eventho they speak English...same like Indian...so they just curious plus when you give Salam LOL...dont offended...cheers😆😁
