    Saw another tutorial where the guy used wood stain. Might just have been the choice of color of wood stain, which I think was red oak or something, but I think it came a little closer to actual bakelite. Maybe the brown just needs to have a little tiny bit of red to it.

    awesome! I'm going to go with Red Mahogany, but an awesome tutorial nonetheless! Sad that literally one brand makes AK 762 Bakelites, but it's gonna be worth it.

    The other tutorials I just saw didn't focus on the clear coat so much. But I think you have the right of it. It just brings out so much more depth! 😍 I'll do this too soon.
