  • All about Aliv -
    1. Who can have Aliv?
    Everyone, especially lactating women, children reaching puberty, adults facing hair loss, patchy skin, alopecia, etc. Rich in folic acid, iron, vit A, so very good for immunity too.
    2. How to have Aliv?
    Always with essential fat. E.g. As Aliv laddoo made of ghee, coconut, jaggery as a mid meal, even for kids, or soaked Aliv seeds (small pinch) in milk at bedtime.
    3. How much Aliv to have?
    Just a pinch of soaked Aliv seeds in milk or in time tested proportions in the laddoo, kheer, etc. Don't overdo it.
    Aliv/ Haleem/ Garden cress seeds.

    These seeds are amazing! I bumped into this video 4 months after delivering baby when my hairfall became severe. Have been having seeds for the last 3-4 months now. Tremendous improvement. My postpartum hairfall stopped completely after ~1 month of starting these seeds. Also, presently i am seeing tons of new hair growth. I highly recommend. I soak a pinch in a little water in the morning and drink it with a cup of milk before bedtime

      The problem is most of our traditional super foods have never been promoted enough. Promoting them as they do in the west could not only bring awareness but also improve economy by many folds. India's Aayurved has so much to offer and sadly our younger generation is missing out being inundated with western fad diets and ideas.

      Do u also find aliv a bit sticky? I habe made laddoos but they leave a very sticky slippery feeling in my mouth 😂. Is it normal?

    • @akshadakhengre836
      @akshadakhengre836 2 года назад +1

      @@gunjagupta9947 yes it is sticky, hence we also use it to make kheer, it gives nice texture. But u r feeling this stickiness in laddoos so may be u have used alive in more quantity. It is very prominent ingredient, its not the main ingredient in laddoos, so need not to consume it in large quantities. Main ingredients remains khobra, gud, ghee, kharik. Ingredient such as dink (gond), aliv are used in small quantities as compared to other mains. So next time may be use less aliv.
