It was a long drive of 120 km. It had just started to rain outside. Windshield was full of raindrops and wipers started to work and then this came ❤️ That 3 minutes and again repeated for a few times ❤️ It was awesome ❤️
I always dread when it rains cause I think the day is ruined and I can't shoot anything worth posting. This video just changes that sentiment up completely. You do a great job capturing the beautiful parts of a rainy day. I liked your video and subscribed to your channel!
such a beautiful homage to the rain. do you think it could be captured with the same cinematic feel on a Fujifilm xs10 ? thank you for sharing your art!
what settings did you use in regards to the IBIS? I have tried both the standard and IBIS with digital stabilization on and its always so choppy. Maybe its my frame rates? let me know. Thanks!
Nice work ! Do you usually turn the camera IBIS off when you shoot ? Or has it been pretty smooth with the IBIS on and lens IS on as well ? I dont normally shoot the XT4 for video so, just wondering what combo of stabilization is gonna give me the least amount of "twitching" lol.
Thanks! I do shoot with IBIS and OIS on. Gives me the best results. Just practice movement and panning a bit and see how every lens interacts with the body. But all of it works pretty well I must say.
Great video! :) I have the same combo - XT4 + 16-80mm :). I shoot some images after rain in my garden that I will put into video and was little bit affraid of water. I know this lens and body are weathersealed, but did the weathersealing do its job? Arent you affraid to put camera in rainy conditions? :) Also, are you shooting handheld with IBIS on? DO you have some issues when moving slightly (slow panning)? I have problems with "lagging" or how can I describe it when IBIS is ON. Thank you for your response :)
Hi! I wouldn’t stress or bother bringing the camera out in wet conditions. It can take it. Just look after your gear as you normally would. But some rain won’t affect this combo for sure. As for the IBIS, yes I know what you mean. The little lag/jitter is there. But with more practice you can manage this, also, start panning (slowly) before recording to avoid getting that movement initiation lag/jitter in your shots. Or use a super smooth tripod head. I also feel in Final Cut Pro the stabilizer function can take out some of that micro lag.
@@DedicationPhotography Thank you for advice, I will surely try it. I am looking to buy Weebill S gimbal so mabye it will solve that problem. Recently when panning i turn my IBIS off and stbilize my footage in Davinci Resolve, but sometimes it makes some wobbeling so definatelly not 100% good. But anyway. ANd from your experience do you use often Eterna or F-Log? Few days ago I tried F-Log for first time and I was impressed when i used Fujifilm LUT and some corrections in color tab. I am still getting into film making as I have this camera for about 2 months.
@@sajbicestuje1990 A gimbal will be nice for this combo, but you still need to learn your way around some imperfections, which every system has. I do think the XT4 is superb and amazing for video. I love mine. I do shoot in Eterna just as much as F-Log. I adjust my Eterna profile to be as flat as that gets and find it easy and nice to correct in post. But F-Log is great when you need that little bit extra for sure! I own it also for 2 monhts, been filming with Nikon DSLR's before. so the XT4 is a massive step up. And I love it, good luck exploring the camera and what it can do :)
@@DedicationPhotography nice :) X-T4 is my first real camera. I was only using Gopro when traveling abroad so for me it is totally new, but I am trying to understand it and know its weakneses asi you told there are some. Thank you very much for advices and I am looking forward to see another videos using your X-T4 :) Take care :)

yeah! i agree with that 100% rain is surprisingly beautiful!
Music is also one of the most important piece of the process to create a great film.

Excellent shots from the xt4! I still shoot with the xt3 and love it. This upgrade would be awesome. Thanks for sharing. Nicely done!
Thanks a lot! I come from a XT10 (and DX Nikons) so this XT4 is a massive upgrade for my video. Love it! XT3 is a sweet camera too!
@@DedicationPhotography that's great! Looking to a pure handheld setup in the future(I always use a gimbal) and the XT4 would probably help alot.
@@RonMiki8 yeah the IBIS does a pretty good job!

Nice, this is something. I am looking to upgrade my ZV1 to aps-c.. looking for a6400 or fujifilm XT4
Both the Xt4 and a6400 are great options for APS-C video!
wwwwowwwwwwwww, very nice man.
Hello. At 1:16 did you use the 16-60mm f4 lens ? Thanks a lot.
Yes, all shots were taken with the 16-80mm F4 lens! :)

what settings did you use in regards to the IBIS? I have tried both the standard and IBIS with digital stabilization on and its always so choppy. Maybe its my frame rates? let me know. Thanks!
OIS from the lens and just normal IBIS. Yeah watch your frame rates, and practice your movements 😊👍🏻
I really like your video it is so nice with a great quality fujifilm videos are so good we are filmmakers too ☺️😉
Did you edit to 24fps or to 23,976 as I see stutter when you look at the building at 00:32 ??
I recorded at 24fps. But it might be my movement. All of it was shot handheld.
@@DedicationPhotography Because in description you wrote that you recorded at 60fps...
@@sjmedia_official you are right, I did. But it all went into a 24fps timeline. So the shots play back at around 40% speed.
@@DedicationPhotography Yes I know, I just wanted to know if it went to 24 or 23.976 timeline as XT4 does not do 60 but 59.94.
@@sjmedia_official Correct, and you know what. I used a 24p timeline but should've used a 23.976timeline. Thanks for pointing it out to me!
Was a lot of this shot with tripods and/or gimbals, or was any of it handheld with IBIS/OIS? Nice footage.
Thank you, all of it handheld with lens OIS and body IBIS on.
