So I did some research and I found out that there was a christian iniciative who decided to label themselves in this way to oppose the cruelty and to raise awareness about the oppreession of christians. I have to admit I´m an atheist, but I wanted to show at least this little support for the Iraqi Christians. I didn´t have a channel picture in the first place. And I think there should be more awareness about the opression of christians in Iraq. As far as I see there were some reports in the news in German media about the terror against the Yazidi people in Sinjar - rightfully so. But on the other hand there was very little media attention about the terror against the Christians of Mossul. And also islamic extremists should see that I´m against them. These are the reasons for me to choose the picture for my account. And of course if some people think I was a christian myself that wouldn´t make me ashamed. (I´m just saying) greetings e

You are correct that in arabic the name of the letter is NUN. But I´m also correct because the transcription of NUN is N. BTW This is what the DMG says. (DMG is the "Deutsche morgenländische Gesellschaft" which means "German Oriental Society") And of course the rest of what I said is correct too. ISIS used the NUN for oppression to mark christian houses.
