Trying Not To Freeze To Death - Part 1

Winter camping in the Boundary Waters is a unique experience. There is just something fun about winter camping in a hot tent in below-freezing temperatures. BWCA winter camping offers the chance to explore new survival skills and learn more about having a great time in the wilderness in the cold.
The Winter Campout Meetup in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota is back.
This year, I'm joined by Midwest Backpacker, Miyagi on the Trail, Toots the Birch Lord, and Milosh for some wacky winter fun.
On this winter (February) trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, we hot tent right on top of a frozen lake, hammock camp, hike to Eagle Mountain, the highest point in the state of Minnesota for a beautiful sunset, I do my first polar plunge ever, and more.
