- This is very common issue with all Bluetooth speakers not only in JBL, bose, Boat, etc
There is a coil inside named 100 this will detach over the time of usage.so don't have to throw your speaker or decide its old.

This issue looks exactly like what I'm experiencing, but on my JBL Flip 5
I tried to dismantle it but it looks different than on your video. Any idea where I should look?
In my case when I increase volume (above 60%) a crackling sound surfaces. I used same speakers to another device where it were working perfectly even at highest volume.
Which electrical components might be affected which gives such crackling sound?
Same here for my charge 4 it works fine until high volume idk if the battery is bad or what then i need to restart it for it to work again

So how exactly did you remove the 100 square piece fuse thing inside the speaker? Mine is halfway up. I don’t wanna just pull it the rest of the way off. Plus did you solder anything?
No soldering.. jus stick it if not fully come off
