So utterly heartbreaking for the families of those three men - blue and blood. There just aren't any words that can do justice. Taken too soon. Rest in Peace. 💔
I used to be a first responder in California. I fought forest fires for years on a hotshot crew. Its a selfless job. God bless our first responders and these men. As they say in the fire service whenever someone dies in the line of duty. “Rest with Christ brothers, we got it from here”

An eviction at 2am with hostages? No…the guy was in bed with his 14 year old step daughter and the mom called police. 4 hour standoff ensued, where he took his family hostage. Then he started shooting at police in the house and then outside. Shot the firefighter who was trying to save a downed officer.
In case anyone is wondering why they are not identifying the killer, it is because he was a black criminal who was not supposed to possess any firearms.

My question is why was the paramedic on the scene before it was cleared by pd?
He was linked to SWAT…;they have a paramedic with them. Assuming they were trying to breach the residence.
He was a swat paramedic, so trained to go in with the SWAT team.
He was rendering aid to one of the officers. That makes his death even more tragic.
