I have an aluminium one which has back c tone hole and also bottom rotating d hole,, I tape up the back c hole as I found it awkward and didn't want to spend time to get used to it,, I love it,, the aluminium is incredibly light yet strong unlike the brass I imagine...

Beautiful whistle! I still have my MK Pro Low F that I bought from Big Whistle - they're a great company.
Thank you for all the advice and help you give on this channel: it's really helped me. I'm happy to report that, having now lived in a farmhouse in rural Aberdeenshire for 18 months with no neighbours to annoy, I've finally reached a level of competence that I'm fairly happy with :)

It looks fookin massive! Tone sounds really nice. Is that one of nicest tones you experienced with low D? (Awh man i just got to the part of the video where you quote the price 😔)

Check Sweetheart low D, shortest stretch on right hand and the sound is amazing.

Lovely. I have the aluminum Viper. Looks like I need to sell it to fund this one. Love the darker sound.

CutiePie, could you make a tutorial of Idyllic Landscape, from the videogame Fantasy Life for Nintendo 3DS? I think it's tuned on Low F, but I'm not sure.

Question about this whistle, I heard that Burke's struggle with the oxxooo c natural and you need to do the oxxxxo. Is that the case with this whistle? Just there's one available and I wanted to check before I buy.

Mine hits Cnat perfectly with the regular fingering 😊 no problems at all. I hope that's helpful. x

Not joke... is it possible Find a steel monolithic low whistle D with thick walls so it won't be bend from hitting people, like baton or tonfa?

Carbony whistles are made of carbon fiber and near indestructible but probably too light weight for self defense.

That's such a beautiful low D! I knew the price of the high D so I was afraid to check the price of the low D and lols half a grand. No longer a whistle us folks can afford, but a whistle only nobles can afford. Sounds amazing tho!
Also, is the saturation weird in this video? Lots of yellow and gold shades going on...

What low d whistle has largest bore, best for budget and has lowest recommended octave?

If you're looking for budget whistles I usually recommend James Dominic whistles:

Quite a stretch on the right hand. So far the shortest stretch in low D has Sweetheart.

honestly, i don't find the price that off-putting. I mean, $500 for a guaranteed top-of-the-line instrument is great. Most instruments cost egregious amounts to be able to afford the best. And worse, the entry-level versions that exists in the $100-$200 range usually aren't great? As a flute/recorder/would be harp player if the level of entry wasn't so expensive, whom also dabbles in whistles and other types of flutes, i'm already trying to figure out how to get my hands on this lol my paypal pay in 4 is crying
