@MuhGlassRibs I dunno 40+ something. Why? Wanna compare the two fighters where Jim has been active, having 9 fights since Stipe's last fight before Jon, one of the p4p best if not the best fighter at the moment? I love Jim Miller but you can't compare his opponent Damon Jackson to Stipe's opponent Jon Jones.
The glazing last night was so annoying. They were talking stipe up a lot to make Jon look like a world beater while hardly making any comparison to Tom
thought the extra weight would've given him some dynamite to compensate for the age. But was shocked to see how slow Stipe looked. Heartbreaking to see the lack of respect UFC gave him for his last fight either. Almost hard to believe this was the same man I watched go to war back in the day. Man had 4 back-to-back rnd 1 KO's against Hunt, Arlovski, Werdum, Overeem and JDS. But guess those times were too far gone to call upon. o7 Miocic, Heavyweight 👑. I hope the hardcore fans will give him the rightful respect so many have denied him.
Stipe looked slow because jones look good brother stipe wasn’t slow at all he was chasing more than using his iq tryna get the knockout stipe finishes most of the scrubs aspinall did
Some take aways from 309; Jon will absolutely get cooked by Tom Bo nickal is not what he is hyped to be Charles is the goat Chandler looks slow and rigid
This just reminded me of McGregor vs Cowboy when Stephen A was like "what did we learn from this though?" we know what Jon can do, he didnt show us anything different against a guy who didnt want to be in there in the first place.
This is the “heavyweight GOAT” that Jon jones could’ve faced a few years ago when Stipe was still the champ, and it would’ve been a mega fight and a fight nobody would’ve complained about, and Jon would get praised for winning. But no he had to face stipe when he’s 42, been out for nearly 4 years, and got knocked out cold in his last fight. Truly the p4p best and the goat 👏
Tommy Aspinal beats the breaks of Jones in the 1st round by knock out I'm afraid, Jones did look good, he does have so many tools in his arsenal, he mixes his attacks up well but seriously looks slow when he does it, Tom doesn't give him that time to pick his shots, like you have said, Tom is super fast!
I agree and I love bones. Tom is next generation heavyweight. Crispest boxing I’ve ever seen in the heavyweight division. But the fight is winnable for Jon
Idk what was worse in that fight; that Stipe literally looked like he was modded with 0.5 speed or Jones was still getting caught by old man Stippy at moments
To be fair, Khabib, has never faced a submission threat like that. Also, remember, when khamzat chimaev fought gilbert burns, he felt one arm bar and never went down again
Keep some level of integrity in the sport, Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall next, and Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev next. That's two way more interesting matchups that could go either way.
The first punch that Jones landed, Stipe realised he hadn’t got the reflexes to see shots coming or do anything about them, and was like a rabbit in the headlights after that.
This just reminds us how disgusting 27 yr old fighting 58 yr old was and what kind of scum Jake really is 58 is crazy when we are saying stipe at 42 look so bad lol
Im sure Jones has had sparring sessions that were more competitive than that fight, Stipe looked even older than he is, slow as molasses and no athleticism whatsoever. I think it's time for him to gracefully bow out!
8:20 what slowed down Stipe was the kicks to the stomach and the elbows to the face. The second round Jon worked Stipe’s legs, which slowed down his mobility and movement to swing hard. People forget that Jon has an extremely high fight IQ. Jon himself has admitted that he doesn’t have punching power to knock down someone with one punch. His method is the elbow.
We all knew this was coming guys. 42 years old in the octagon?????? Cmon we knew, you will rarely ever see anyone do well after 40 vs younger fighters in there. This was not a surprise.
22:10 bro Paul Craig infuriates me whenever he is in the cage.. The dude has no striking.. He is low-key worse than the likes of Ben Askren.. At least he could take guys down and get TKOs on the ground.. Paul needs a hail mary submission from his back to win a fight. In hindsight, the win over Ankalaev can be seen as a fluke.
No that’s really not it. You can’t “make” someone look like a heavy bag in the first couple minutes of the fight. Maybe if you landed an insane liver shot or something in the first 30 seconds. But in reality Stipe looked extremely slow and stiff before Jones had even landed a shot. He had no business being in there.
@@therainman7777 Just look at Jones every fight he’s in makes everyone else look stiff, slow, and washed up. He’s had only two close fights in his entire career; the rest were pure domination

@@DanandDrakeinteresting take I think the question should be guys can Jon take down Tom? If he can shoot a takedown on Tom and drag him into deep water in the championship rounds it could get interesting. However if Jon can't get the takedown he might actually be fucked and get slept by Tom.
Jones never stands his ground he actually runs out of exchanges more than izzy
His “defence” consists of literally running away 😂. a couple of bobs and weaves. But my god, Please Tom save us.

The flak i got on tiktok for saying stipe and john were fighting in .5 speed was crazyyy. I dont think a majority of the casuals who tuned in last night have ever seen an aspinall fight live cause in comparison to last night, Tom aspinall moves like the flash.
lmaooo you’re on tik tok 😂😂😂
@@anondom4406 your not special or different if you dont have tiktok bud no one cares trust me
We’re living in a different reality than these Jon Jones fans. The way they’ve been talking about this fight, you’d think Jon fought a Prime Stipe.
The damage Miocic took during the first round was pretty intense. He looked bad but he was probably also really shocked from all the elbows.
lol lets watch the whites cry & complain...it's hilarious AF...🤣😁😂
Ain’t it crazy that he survived though and didn’t give up shows the kind of heart stipe has

Stipe in his prime would have beat Jones.
Was Stipe going to use his deadly body kicks or his gracie level bjj?
@@MuhGlassRibs his gritty boxing and vet status
@@MuhGlassRibshe would use his deadly boxing as you saw despite stipe being slow jon got rocked multiple times and if it was prime stipe would’ve went straight for the finish after rocking him as he did to everyone.
50/50
100% he would easily outbox him
Jones is basically the Lebron of MMA considering how much the media tries to convince you that he’s a god among mortals lol
Jon Jones is nothing compared to my glorious king
Jon jones is more like the lance Armstrong of MMA
Do not compare this piece of shit to lebron james. Lebron earned that with insane performances and breaking records against great competition. Plus most of the main media like stephen a smith and the inside the nba crew aren''t really big lebron fans. They mythologize jordan more than anyone else, who also deserves that way more than jones does
Nah Jones is Michael Jordon. Lebron is Shamil Gaziev

And remember the only reason Tom hasn’t fought Gane is because Gane turned down the fight several times
Gane knows he would get murked lol
Poor old man Stippy😢
how old was Jim Miller winning yesterday?
@MuhGlassRibs I dunno 40+ something. Why? Wanna compare the two fighters where Jim has been active, having 9 fights since Stipe's last fight before Jon, one of the p4p best if not the best fighter at the moment? I love Jim Miller but you can't compare his opponent Damon Jackson to Stipe's opponent Jon Jones.
@@PjXu98 perfect answer bratha
Jones bringing up how Stipe had wars with DC to make his win look better like they both fought the same version of Stipe was laughable.
Plus Cormier was 41 for his last fight with Stipe
Dude nailed it. Can’t spell Stipe without CTE. You can steal that one if you want.
Been waiting for this video, stipe legit was basically a swinging heavy bag
The glazing last night was so annoying. They were talking stipe up a lot to make Jon look like a world beater while hardly making any comparison to Tom
Crazy how glover did it while being 42
So you were just gonna make a 52 minute video on 309 and not once even think to mention Schmitty??
thought the extra weight would've given him some dynamite to compensate for the age.
Stipe looked slow because jones look good brother stipe wasn’t slow at all he was chasing more than using his iq tryna get the knockout stipe finishes most of the scrubs aspinall did
Some take aways from 309;
Jon will absolutely get cooked by Tom
Bo nickal is not what he is hyped to be
Charles is the goat
Chandler looks slow and rigid
People forget man, old crafty vet stippy looked great in there he just had NO CHANCE against the goat mannnn. Such a tough test man
Tyson vs Paul & Stipe vs Jones...... It was "National Elder Abuse Weekend"
14:32 the ufc needs to tell jon this right now the heavyweight division has been held up for to long
The Ai martial arts dummy reference was a perfect explanation for Paul Craig LOL

Great to see all of combat sports coming together for the veterans!
Old Man Stippy living up to the name

😭😭 Thank you for all that you’ve done, enjoy retirement you crafty vet!!
Keep some level of integrity in the sport, Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall next, and Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev next. That's two way more interesting matchups that could go either way.
Derrick lewis would kill this version of stipe
Jon jones is actually a crafty vet now
34:09 - Does Lucas not know that Bo trains out of ATT in Miami as well? 😂
DC knocked out Stipe at 41 and also beat Derrick Lewis easily
Paul Craight stares you down like gyarados but fights like magikarp
Yeah Stipe looked worse after getting elbowed for 4 minutes. Come on bro.

Jon makes it look like most of his opponents are heavy bags honestly ,
No that’s really not it.
@ Yeah I just don’t know what you’re talking about. He’s made a lot of people look inferior to him, because they were inferior to him. He was the better fighter in all those fights. But I disagree that he made everyone look stiff and slow. A lot of people were bouncing around the ring with Jones, being quick, being evasive, being athletic, being strong. Jones was just a more skilled fighter and always found ways to win. (Except when he didn’t, aka Dominic Reyes.)
@@therainman7777 Everybody always has an excuse when Jones wins. Today, he put on a clinic, making Stipe look that bad simply because he's just that good
@ No man, I’m sorry but that just isn’t true. Jones has made many good fighters look not so good, that’s true. But Stipe truly was way past his prime here and looked like shit. Pretty much everyone has acknowledged that.

Tom's got bjj since he was a kid so on the feet he's faster and more powerful, then if Jones got a takedown Tom's at the very least gonna be able to improve position with his size, strength and bjj technique unlike stipe who kinda tried to move then got tagged with an elbow
Jones does not want more money, he is pricing himself out
