I’m in love with these domed blenders. TIP - I put Velcro circle on bottom of each ink pad, and am slowly switching out the old Ranger sponge (WHICH ALSO FRAY EASIER THAN DOMED) with the new domed sponge. If you do it periodically, not a huge expense. I have only EVER had two of the wood blender tool, and have either a Ranger or the domed sponge on bottom of each stamp pad, from Distress to Archival inks
These are beautiful backgrounds. I love all of them, but I especially like the effect you get by using a brush. It looks like a great choice for beginners or more inexperienced crafters. I definitely fit into that category. I think stencils are often underused, but I love them.
I love stencils. So versatile and cheaper than stamps. I have one similar to the Moroccan one. I did a rainbow of color without the overlap in distress ink, more subdued hues like chipped sapphire, seedless preserves, bundled sage, dried marigold and then put a stable scene over the top for Christmas.
They are all beautiful! My favorite is the Moroccan card. I use my stencils for card making, using your techniques, and art journals. Using various ink pads, ink sprays, air brushing with liquid acrylic, and several different acrylic paints.
I really enjoyed this video. It presented the concept in a clear, easy to follow manner. The projects are neat. Thank you. I will buy those stencils and distress inks.
Love all the stencils and your cards. I loved the resist method and the blending brushes with the distress oxide inks to add the color, also loved how you saved the card with the cut and sentiment added into the color bands.
I really like the cards that you did with the stencils they are lovely and simple to do. I’m new to the use of stencil and I really like the ideas that you get to use them. Thank you!
I love the Moroccan Tile stencil that you used. The colors are so beautiful together. My favorite tool to use for blending is the Taylored Expressions blending brushes 😊
They were all great. My fav was the one with the split lines done in cross cross pattern. Love that one and I think it's the only stencil i didnt have. Love how you used the polka dot background to manually color in. I always just ink it or spray over it but i love the look you got also. I didnt have good luck using the brushes and with the life changing brushes i dont always like the look i get. Not exactly sure why but i do love using the very smallest ones for tiny details. Otherwise probably old school blending tool but will be anxious to try these round sponge ones. Great video.
The Moroccan stencil is my favorite. But, as always, you are a great teacher and all you make is beautiful, straightforward and doable. Thank you, Justine.
Beautiful cards. I liked the look of the paste card best but I personally use the picket fence style blending brushes as it creates effortless blends which is something I struggled with
Good luck on your move!! Remember to enjoy it - a new space is always like a new start for me. Tfs the techniques, always good reminders. I have RA, so I understand the pain in hands 🙂
Hello! Justine stamped the sentiments on white cardstock and trimmed them to size with a paper trimmer before adhering them onto the cards with either liquid glue or tape runner. Hope this helps!
Wonderful tutorial Justine. I like the soft blender brushes I got from Amazon, i haven’t tried it with a stencil yet, and gave me some wonderful inspiration. Tyfs. Hugs!
Justine, How do you clean the Nuvo glitter paste off of your stencil? I put it in warm water right away and the paste is still on it. Now I used Glitter paste not the new glimmer paste, does the glimmer paste come off easier? Thank you.
Beautiful cards. I love the Nuvo glitter markers. I hadn’t thought of using them directly thru a stencil. I’m enjoying using the blending brushes but I am tempted to try the Scrapbook.com domed foam blenders. Which do you prefer?
BE CAREFUL USING MARKERS WITH STENCILS many stencils are sharp and will damage the felt tip of your marker. Same for paint pens. Best to use HB pencil to draw tracelines then colour fill afterward. 🌼
I love using stencils. . I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you for sharing. So much information.💖💖💖
Justine, you are the bomb. I just love every one of your videos.

I don’t use my stencils as often as I should. After watching you create with them, I’m inspired to get them out and play. Tfs

I love all of these stencils so much, especially the dash one, they are on sale, all week and have been sold out all week, kind of a bummer :(
The first one is my favourite
Thx so much
Wow! Love those colors! Have to get those dome blenders!😁
Wonderful video. Thanks so much!
Beautiful work. Just a small request could you please explain how you added sentiment on cards

You always have the best videos, I’ve just started using stencils, so I’m so glad to have some different ways to use them
I like the one with stencils diagonally in two colors. Haven't seen that way of applying stencils before.
Love stencils!!
Hi. Thanks for the video! What brand/weight of cardstock do you like best for printing digital images? Laser or inkjet?
I love them! Always looking for a way to use the nuvo markers genius!! Thanks

That really makes me want to try one of the pastes....
Do the Domed Foam Applicators fit the Tim Holtz Ink blending tools (wooden handles)?
Yes they do 👍🏼
What mat did you use? Love the cards!
Loving all of these cards. Good job! ; )
Beautiful cards. I love the Nuvo glitter markers. I hadn’t thought of using them directly thru a stencil. I’m enjoying using the blending brushes but I am tempted to try the Scrapbook.com domed foam blenders. Which do you prefer?
Should gesso be used on the striped card to prevent the slight warping of the card?
That would really depend on your cardstock and how it handles the paste.I always glue my panels onto a base so it straightens them out in the end
Want a video on making stress ink easy method

What spray did you use?
Hi Lauren! She used Pixie Spray and you can find it here: www.scrapbook.com/store/tow-3397.html
What if we don’t have Disstress Ink...?
