I've had mine for years, but didn't play it much. Today Mar19 23, I was cataloging gear for current prices etc. These have about doubled in price. I put this together in Apple Notes and I'll share: Made in Japan The RG521 from the Genesis Collection was only available in Japan. These were never classic models from the golden age but Ibanez adding a fixed bride option into the Genesis line. These are NOT Limited editions and are straight catalog models. So in all, the Genesis guitars are Prestige in all ways, except for not carrying Dimarzios, but that has to do with the fact that too they're making them exactly like they were back in the day with better neck construction (5 piece instead of 1 piece) Specs: Designed first and foremost for shredders, the Ibanez RG Genesis Collection RG521 is an electric guitar styled in a cool jewel blue finish. It features a double-cutaway basswood body and a Super Wizard five-piece maple/walnut neck. This neck, outfitted with a 25.5" scale, sports a rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, as well as 24 jumbo frets for all your shrieking, shredding needs. For electronics, the guitar is outfitted with a V7 humbucking pickup in the neck and a V8 humbucker in the bridge. A volume knob and a tone knob are on hand to help you shape your sound, as is a 5-way pickup selector that makes series and split configurations possible. Strings are affixed to the body with a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, which aids in sustain and tuning stability. The guitar was made in Japan. Super Wizard HP Maple Neck The neck is for shredders and boasts a 17mm thickness at the 1st fret and 19mm thickness at the 12th. Gibraltar Standard II Bridge The Gibraltar Standard II is a simple fixed bridge designed to unify the guitar's body, providing excellent transfer of each string's vibration. Its smooth surface is designed to maximize playing comfort. General Features * Super Wizard five-piece maple/walnut neck * Bolt-on neck construction * Basswood body * Rosewood fingerboard * White dot inlay * 24 jumbo frets * Fixed bridge * V7 humbucking neck pickup (passive/ceramic) * V8 humbucking bridge (passive/alnico) * Nut: Graphtech * Black hardware

This was my favourite guitar but I could never purchase it.
@@Sam_Gowman Honestly buddy, it was brilliant to play and I wish I'd have actually bought it looking back... oh well maybe we might find it again
