I think Andrew is a perfect choice to be a director for the Narnia movies.
Quite possibly one of the best book to movie adaptations. Accurate and true to the source material while also managing to do it's own thing. Andrew Adamson really doesn't get enough credit for what he did with both his films.
I don't think Netflix can top this. Having a family atmosphere on set is very difficult to achieve first of all. What more with all the detail. Netflix hasn't done something so big as The Chronicles of Narnia. Netflix is very ambitious to think they can out do this production.
More importantly I don’t think the people running Netflix have what at the core made this film (and to some extent the second one) so special: It has genuine heart and goodness. Most of the successful Netflix shows, super well made as they may be, all showcase a nihilistic and dark version of humanity/the world. Making a story where genuine good and evil exist and good wins whilst not being cliché and fake, is extremely hard to do. Andrew Adamson clearly had that rare ‘it’ factor that I don’t think Greta Gerwig has.
I've just realized what a wonderful work Andrew Adamson really made! I watch Chronicles of Narnia 1 over and over and I'm completely fond of it!!!!
As well as The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, the 2000s gave us lovely fantasy films like Peter Pan, Stardust, and The Chronicles of Narnia films (mostly the first two).
Really is this like them
When the raid sirens started, and the bombs began falling, I turned to my family as if to question "Are we in the right theater?".
The perfect director for a perfect movie
Yeah, Andrew's a really great director. It's a shame Andrew doesn't make more movies.
Andrew Adamson is my nana's cousin's son. My nana's mum's sister is Andrew Adamson's grandmother, and her son is Andrew's father. So basically, Andrew Adamson is my distant cousin. For those of you who might be wondering, we live in Auckland, New Zealand.
So crazy how he went from such success with Shrek and Narnia to basically going off the grid for a decade. Looking forward to his Curious George movie.
Hats off to the costume designer 💐💐💐
Wow I’ve never seen this documentary before thanks for uploading 😍💚
Andrew is honestly so amazing. Thank you for uploading this!
That's true. I think Andrew Adamson did an awesome job on the Narnia films.
I’m crying skandar is the cutest kid 😭 37:30
I totally agree with you. Skandar is absolutely amazing.
Andrew speaks about the book like Peter Jackson spoke about LOTR with love and respect and that's why they're so loved
Without the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I don't think this movie gets made the way it got made.
Omg theres so many narnia content
This is awesome. I wonder what Andrew is doing now.
He previous direct two Shrek films, however he no direct the third due to job of Narina films and fourth and i don't know why we going to delevopment the fifth film in the future.

great director
Music:Harry Gregson-Williams(2005)
Lyrics: David Zippel and Ted Drachman
Harry Gregson-Williams' soundtrack for the Narnia movies is truly remarkable. It perfectly captures the magical and adventurous spirit of the series, and helps to transport the audience into the fantastical world of Narnia. The music is both epic and emotional, and it enhances the film's storytelling in a powerful way. Gregson-Williams is a talented composer and his work on the Narnia films is a testament to his skill and creativity.
One most interesting parts is where they bring Lewis, as well as mentioning Tolkien. What was whole reason for why Germany, in World War II, bombed London and other cities? Narnia looks a lot better than Oz and Neverland.
