To eradicate liver fluke we need to know the stage of fluke that the dose is active against and the date the cattle were housed full-time. To knock out all three stages of fluke; early immature, immature and adult, Triclabendazole e.g. Tribex, will do that from 10 days housed. From 6 weeks housed, use Nitroxynil, Closantel or Rafoxanide (RIDAfluke). From 10 weeks housed, we can use adult flukicides such as Albex, Albendazole, Oxyclozanide, Rumenil or Clorsulon which comes in a combination of injection with Ivermectin i.e. Animec Super.
