The original song is from a bulgarian artist named Dara. SM bought the rights and she herself helped with rewriting the song to fit Kai and is even credited. It makes me so happy to know a song from my country has reached such a big entertainment company like SM😭

Unfortunately his albums have all done poorly....sm needs to start sticking to their own music instead of forking out songs of other artists and remaking them.
@@TheShadowsFearX Idk where you heard about Kai's albums doing poorly? Considering the fact that he is a 1/9 member of a kpop group and still selling almost 500K albums is a big deal for any solo artist (considering Baekhyun is the only 3rd gen soloist to have sold 1M albums, that too twice in a row). Esp with the lack of promotions. He may not be outselling Baekhyun, Taeyeon or Kang Daniel but he's still doing well or he would've gotten no comebacks at all from SM, let alone 3.
But I do agree that SM should go back to their roots (not in this song's case tho, bc I think this suits Kai perfectly),

Problem with sm idols is they dont seem to write or produce, however instead of sticking to sm music, they are doing doing remakes which is just poor.
@@TheShadowsFearX Bro his first album sold 400k, so I said "almost 500k". No one's lying. I also clearly said, he isn't outselling anyone but he is doing considerably well, compared to a lot of other actual soloists.
Besides, I don't get why you're so concerned about SM idols not writing/producing, it's fine? it's not a problem lol? Yes, producing/writing is a huge deal but its not always a necessity. Also, if you knew anything SM, you should know that they don't really let their idols showcase their production/writing skills either. Lay/Mark/Chanyeol can prod/write songs very well but SM doesn't let them do it, bc it's basically their "signature" at this point. So, even if its a problem, its not the "SM idols" but its "SM Ent's" problem.
