The purito galacto niacin truly is a legit brightening essence. I saw a difference within two weeks of using consistently x2 a day. For the price its such a bargain! Try it if you're struggling with hyperpigmentation.
Thank you for review, I m thinking of ordering it. I am really struggling with hyperpigmentation on whole face due to chemiacl burn and Ntg seems to be working 😭
Does it help to minimize pore size? When I used TO niacinamide my skin barrier was healthy and less sensitive so it didn’t irritate my skin and helped minimize pore size overtime. But now my skin isn’t at its best. TO niacinamide gives burning sensation to my face :( but I want something to help minimize pores and sebum regulation
Kelly, can you review products from Cos De Baha please. I'm dying to know more about their active products if we compare with The Ordinary or The Inkey List
i use the Niacinamide from them and love it. I am interested in trying other products they have. I was going to try their Snail Serum, but ended up buying the COSRX product.
Actually I have tried a few different niacinamide serums and everytime I go back to the Ordinary my skin gets SO clear and under control. So it happens to work great for my skin!
Kelly this is random but I just wanted to say THANK YOU x1000000 for recommending the illyoon ceramide cream. It has saved my dry skin that I've been battling with literally all my life. I literally can't thank you enough. You're the absolute best !!!!!
well, i thought i knew all i needed to know about Niacinamide, but she broke down the differences in percentages and their respective benefits -- and wow, that clarified so much for me, THANK YOU🤗
Thank you for this video. I really appriciate the clear, non-biased way you present the products. I also realky like that you discuss the benefits and/or drawbacks of tge actives / ingriedients of both products. It really helps me decide which product i want to purchase. I am currently using the Stratia serum 2x a day and i love it. My skin loves this serum. I have seen a big improvment in the plumpness. I have tried the Ordinary and i did not see any changes in my skin good or bad and benefits or drawbacks
Thank you so much for this review, I'm glad I bought the beauty of joseon one (curently waiting for it) I would love this or that episode about rice, green tea, red algae, ginseng (I would love to know what you think about the ginseng essence), mushrooms, houttuynia cordata, centella, yuja, galactomyces. ❤️❤️
Kelly what about the Paula’s Choice? I have been using Niacinamide from the Ordinary for long time now. I agree about the texture, what I do is not rubbing it on my skin too much. I also notice that it doesn’t peel off when the product is newly opened, but when you get to like 1/4 of the bottle. It last long time! I only need three drop. I used one bottle of Paula’s Choice sometime ago, it definitely brightened my skin, but the effect seems to go away after stop using it.
Ahh you are definitely my new fave skincare enthusiast on youtube. I’ve been binge watching many of your videos. You always manage to always gives a thorough description of each product yet still gives the key points, also manage to diffrentiate each product to all the other similar products. Very helpful as a guidance for us who want to try something new but always contemplated in between all similar products on the market
for the ordinary niacinamide, i find it a lot better to use it if you drop it into your moisturizer and mix it in, then put it on your face. helps with the pilling
Thank you for this! I’m really curious to know the difference between Slurp Niacid and Purito Galacto Niacin, I think they have similar ingredients but Niacid is a lot more expensive.
I have products in all the percentages, I like the Purito 5% one and the Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA toner which has 2% niacinamide. I also have the revolution beauty 15% one, which seems pretty strong and the inkey list 10% one , which I prefer for the texture compared to TO
Kelly, you will love I'm From's new Rice Serum. It's technically a niacinamide serum with main ingredient as rice ferment. Very hydrating, amazing texture, great for dry skin.
So happy to see the niacinamide video as I’m looking to add a serum with it into my routine: the ordinary has been a disaster for me and you’ve included products I was eyeing from purito and isntree ❤️ thanks you Kelly!
I tried using the ordinary and I break out. I thought my skin can't handle niacinamide. However, I tried (and still using it) the Purito Centella Unscented Serum, thanks to your recommendation, my skin loves it!
i experienced the same situation with the tiam serum. I noticed that it made my skin look dull which a result of dryness. Also when i used this on my forehead it made my complexion look more bumpy i would say. However i thought it would be a waste to throw it in the bin and tried to use this as a spot treatment
I cocktail the ordinary niacinamide, with some beta glucan usually other beauty of joseon ginseng serum, and this gives me no texture issues whatsoever. Also...someone i know, has been using the ordinary niacinamide serum on their butt to get rid of those nasty little bumps & such...with great success apparently...I need to order a new bottle to try that out for myself...but will definitely be trying it out!!!
Love this series of yours. Thanks so much for todays video 💕. Naturiums Niacinamide Serum and Gel cream are part of my top favourite niacinamide products 😍
I love your this or that videos. They have put me out of dielemma a lot of times. I totally agree with you regarding the ordinary niacinamide product. I had a hard time getting used to it initially coz of its texture. I like your honest reviews. Could you do a video on how to pack skincare products during travel video if possible?
This video is proof that someone always has to be the one to drop a dislike. How do you dislike a this or that?! Its literally just advice based on experience with a product....uuummm...lol. What's not to like? ☺️🤔🤷♀️
I really felt like The Ordinary niacinamide didn't do a lot for my acne scars (also acne in general) and I thought it was only me, because everybody says how good it is and it was cheap compare to other serums, so I kept buying it. I know now that the moment I finish my last bottle I'm going to try a different serum from this list. So thank you!
I'm new to asian beauty, I had no idea they have propolis in a few products. I'm brazilian and we usually take propolis regularly, but to drink it, not to put on the skin. That's really interesting!!! I'm suffering from a lot of acne and irritated skin, gonna see if I can find that one. :)
Tiam vita b3 is slightly oily on my skin! I absolutely hate it. Also got breakouts immediately after using it at night time. Got rid of it and never looked back
another great vid kelly! i got the TIAM and found it was great for pore control. plus the texture was truly DREAMY! too bad it was too high of a percentage for me and made me break out. but i shouldn't have went from nothing to 10% immediately either.

The consistency of the ti’am is truly amazingggg. Hi Kelly! I love ur series so much. Can you do one with centella, specifically with madecassoside? I found products with madecassoside perform better in soothing and repairing my skin compared to products with just centella extract. Thanks!
Well well, Niacinamide ... the ingredient my dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin hates and can't tolerate in any percentages.... Always gives me that stinging, drying feeling that my barrier is just being destroyed🙈 Thank you for mentioning, that Niacinamide can be irritating (even thouhg in my case and some other peoples cases it happens in lower percentages too - for example I can't even use sunscreens that contain Niacinamide... which is in a lot of Korean ones...). I rarely hear any youtber admit that. (Also funny, that I commented just that on your last video...) I find your overall "more is not always better" approach to this and for example acids very sensible. Big thumbs up for that. (And yes I even watched a whole video on an ingredient I can't even use🤣🤣🤣 Your videos are always very informative, in-dept and somehow I even find them very relaxing and calming...and they really help me in my jorney to finding the right products for my skins needs.) Additionally, I've also got a question (for you and the other commenters). What are the alternatives to Niacinamide? From this video I can definitely get the information that propolis and sea buckthorn water are good for brightening purposes and galactomyces are good for reducing the apperance of pores. From my own experience I know that everything related to Madecassoside is good for calming acne. Does anyone have other tips for alternatives? (And I'll exclude direct L-Ascorbic Acid and Arbutin from this question since they seem to be more irritating than Niacinamide itself so I don't really want to try them...)
Yeeees so excited, since I started my retinol I’ve been to scared to go back to my vitamin c + arbutin serum so I need some brightening. Haven’t bought anything yet but I’ve been eyeing the isntree ampoule (still have to sus out if I’m sensitive or not to sea buckthorn) and I got my mum the Purito galactoniacin. If you ever try the new cosrx snail dual essence which also has niacinamide (5% I think?) would you let us know how you like it? I’m a bit snail-obsessed... and that sounded way more gross than I intended.
Eyes like Foxglove I'm on 1% retinol, and I added TIA'M b3 serum to my routine after about 4 months... First I used it AM, but now after 6 months from starting retinol, I use the niacinamide serum almost in all routines (AM, PM /everyday). It's not irritating. I use AHAs and BHAs maybe once a week, but I didn't use any for months... I think the Tiam niacinamide + retinol gives an amazing glow, and you start to question more and more why even use a foundation?!😉
@@noora7773 This is my second week with retinoids (using it every 3 days) and I’m with the ordinary niacinamide as well. Luckly I haven’t seen any irritation. I want to try the Tiam serum when I finish the ordinary one, but I’m afraid of the 2% of alpha arbutin ingredient.
Although everything I've tried from the ordinary worked for me (Lactic acid, Peeling solution, azelaic acid, hyaluronic acid), the Niacinamide did not work and made me break out in hives with white bumps. I'm guessing it's because of the zinc. If anyone had the same experience with the TO niacinamide, try the Inkey List one. Been working wonders so far.
The best ever This or That Kelly!! 👏🏻 Just wondering about the Vic C on the Isntree C-Niacin Toning Ampoule, I couldn’t find the Ethyl ascorbic acid on Ingredient list. Could you help me on this? If it is possible I would adore to know the percentage of this Vit. C. Thank you for your great video!!

I wish Tiam would make a 5% with arbutin I have a sample I'm using when I bought the powder arbutin of Tiam wich I like but I wish the B3 serum was 5% idk that's just me. I played *chemist and mixed the arbutin powder with the FAB oat toner and love great results.
Tiam b3 source serum is good for 19 age?? Your products is so affective.. I'm suffering dark spot, pigmentation uneven tone / dullness.. I also buy my products according to your suggestion..I've sensitive acne prone skin.. Now I'm using benton snail bee essence & Which contains niacinamide so i think I'm not beginners in niacinamide
What do you think about the other serum from purito? the unscented centella one? does it hold up the title for brightening like its brother? cause I know it has some niacinamide too ^^
I've reviewed it a few times but honestly I don't see much brightening from it, although I know many others have. For me it's just very calming, healing and hydrating!
I have! It's nice and helpful for the days when your skin needs that TLC! I must admit I like the sioris milk cleanser a little more (just on texture, performance is the same) but you really can't go wrong with stratia especially with tender skin.
This is what i am looking for. I've watched several niacinamide videos but something is lacking, and this video had it all that i need to know. Thank you! PS just subscribed 😊
Hey Kelly! For the Tiam Vita B3 serum, do you think it would still be effective if I only used it maybe twice a week to try to mitigate potential irritation? Or perhaps just focus it on certain problem areas like my nose? I've never successfully used such a high percentage of niacinamide. Btw this is the best ingredient-focused skincare series ever!! So incredibly informative. Thank you for all of your hard work and research!
Hi Kelly... firstly, love your videos... very informative and educational. I already purchased several products based on your reviews and very happy with them. My question is on your opinion about The Inkey List Niacinamide. I love it and use it daily. It’s 10% and great for my oily skin. I noticed amazing brightening results in addition to oil regulation. It layers up great with face cream and leaves a healthy glow. Would love to hear your input on it. Thanks so much in advance! 🙏❤️
Love the video as always! Just want to shout out 9wishes white ampoule and isntree hyaluronic acid essence, both of which have 2% niacinimide! Love both of those serums
Im recently considering which niacinamide serum to buy and this video came just in time! Love watching your videos Kelly, always so helpful and informative😊😊
Thank you for yet another good video Kelly, I bought the Tiam niacinamide serum because of you! May I know if you have tried the Tiam Vita C Refre Toner that you bought and how is it working for you? :)
the propolis should be used in the am or pm routine? plus we can layer this one with cosrx galacotymisis essence or with purito uncentented centella? or just simpl this without any layering i want to know? how we can layer this joeson one?

I had a really bad reaction to the Ordinary 10% niacin-amide. So glad i came across this
What do you think about the other serum from purito? the unscented centella one? does it hold up the title for brightening like its brother?
cause I know it has some niacinamide too ^^
I've reviewed it a few times but honestly I don't see much brightening from it, although I know many others have. For me it's just very calming, healing and hydrating!
@@KellyDriscoll yayy thank you for replying Kelly! 💜💜💜
Have you tried the Stratia Velvet skin milk? My skin is needing a more moisturizing cleanser than my beloved Heimish green clean.
I have! It's nice and helpful for the days when your skin needs that TLC! I must admit I like the sioris milk cleanser a little more (just on texture, performance is the same) but you really can't go wrong with stratia especially with tender skin.
Hey Kelly! For how long should I use niacinamide to see the benefits? 🤔
what percent of niacinamide would be best for glowing up my skin??
How about cos de baha niacinamide, tranexamic acid and azelaic acid? It seems very cheap
This is what i am looking for. I've watched several niacinamide videos but something is lacking, and this video had it all that i need to know. Thank you! PS just subscribed 😊
Which niacinamide serum us good for close comedones sensitive acne prone skin....my main issue open pore's plz guide me
Hi! What’s your take on Slurp Niacid?
Can the purito one be the good choice for the start using niacinamide?
Beautiful closing Kelly 😊
Could you do this or that for retinol products? :)
Hi Kelly... firstly, love your videos... very informative and educational. 🙏❤️
OMGGG I been looking through niacinamide products the past week. Perfect timing 🙏❤️
Any k-beauty moisturizers that contain both ceramides and niacinamide?
Love the video as always! Just want to shout out 9wishes white ampoule and isntree hyaluronic acid essence, both of which have 2% niacinimide! Love both of those serums
Vita b3 source/purito buffet serum which one more effective
Loving these series! Thanks girl! Love u! ❤️
You're so welcome!💖
I'm currently use the Geek & Gorgeous B-bomb (10% niacinamide) and it has a better texture than the Ordinary one. And it's about the same price. :)
Im recently considering which niacinamide serum to buy and this video came just in time! Love watching your videos Kelly, always so helpful and informative😊😊
So happy this was helpful!💖
Thank you for yet another good video Kelly, I bought the Tiam niacinamide serum because of you! May I know if you have tried the Tiam Vita C Refre Toner that you bought and how is it working for you? :)
the propolis should be used in the am or pm routine? plus we can layer this one with cosrx galacotymisis essence or with purito uncentented centella? or just simpl this without any layering i want to know? how we can layer this joeson one?
Propolis can be used any time, AM or PM and can be layered with any ingredients, it's not a fussy ingredient!
@@KellyDriscoll thanks 😊
I'm surprised Purito Centella unscented serum wasn't included due to it having 5% niacinamide. Maybe a Purito "this or that" will be in the future.
the centella unscented serum actually has 3% of niacinamide, not 5. you can check on their official website in qa section of the product
@@rodicaplotnic7909 my package said 5%. I hope it isn't counterfeit.
weird, maybe they are just different versions of the product
@@rodicaplotnic7909 maybe it's an older version. It expires in February. Most Kbeauty products have a 2yr from manufacturing unopened shelf life.
Purito won’t clarify the % in this serum. I have asked them and they told me it’s propitiatory information.
How is the stratia vitamin c? Better than the Timeless?
