Ellis Abram Its a ridiculous sounding amp for 8lbs. Definitely try it out if you get a chance or it wont disappoint if you just take a chance like i did.
I appreciate the review, you play great too! I was looking at the Phil Jones session 77, hoping you could review that also. This rig dosn't have what I need in power, but a 100 wat Phil Jones amp might be perfect for gigs in small clubs with a three piece.
If it's anything- I've heard it being played with an 8 string bass and it took the low F# string no problem. Saving up some for one of these, I've only heard good things.
I have 2 of them... one 4 me :) and one 4 my daughter... cos I didn't wan her to impound on mine.... 😂 And the only problem I got from that is that I had to tell her not to go too far with it, lololol
What type of battery are you using to power it? I saw the one that Phil Jones recommends, but it's upwards of $180-$235...Wondering if yours was a bit cheaper for the same quality.
I got one and I love it.So surprising at the volume and tone .Not to mention how it's saved my 63 yr old gig worn back.
really cool playing 🏆
Thanks
I've just ordered a white one! Fantastic playing mate - that sweet, dream bass tone at 2:47 brings out the bassface, then adding the mids even better!
Very nice. Thanks!
Great review. You are an awesome player.
Wow, a battery powered unit with this type of sound and power. Fantastic.

Thanks for the review bro. Saw this little devil in the store today. Holy cow...surprising the how light it is for the sound you get.
great review, VERY helpful. Really fast string to speaker response, reminds me of my aguilar rig in that respect.
great sound and playing bro!

Great review! Very versatile ~ how does it handle pedals? (ie. comps, distortion, chorus, env. filter, octave, etc)?
Thanks for the interesting review! 👏😊
Great bass playing.
I was wondering if you think this AMP could handle a bass tuned to A with the low string? ?? this is for pre production recording - Thanks

Nice! What model bass are you playing?
Artisan Bassworks 6-String Custom Fidelity Series Bass
How do you hook up the battery?
Will the battery power it even at max volume? or will the high power draw cut it off?
Lally It will power it fully but if you clip the amp too much it will cut out. I use it for solo gigs on battery and really push it with no problem
If you have a good 20V power pack it'll hold the strain, no problem! Be ready to invest 20-30 bucks more on a good battery, that's my advice.

And frankly for the bucks and size it's with no doubt unbeatable! No kidding!
Just to give you an idea... I take 2 of them and my Bass buddy + infinity Looper with me in my personal carry on luggage....

Theophilus Carter Poweradd Pilot Pro 2 is the battery I use about $80
Thanks for the prompt response. Great review and playing by the way!

Artesian Bass Works, I only know 'cause I have one also.
