Agreed with the host. This is the only show I care to follow on TV and can't wait to watch. The writing, casting, action, and overall production is phenomenal. The story tackles real shit and the action has some weight to it. As a martial artist my self, I appreciate the great choreography. Another thing that's great is the female characters don't suck, they're relatable, well done, and not forced down our throats.Kudos to the team because I was worried with the long downtime season 3 would lose some magic, but you guys did well and reminded me why I love this show.
I was on Warrior from the first episode and was sorry it was cancelled. So happy max brought it back, it’s a high quality entertainment product in a sea of dour garbage
Wang Chao is hands down my favourite character, so nuanced and relatable in an odd kind of way if you ever been in the middle of relatives fighting each other and locked in conflict
The characters in this show are amazing. The women are strong, the men are strong, Ah Sahm is a fucking boss. His internal conflict of being loyal and a hero and a brother is second to none. Love Hoon Lee! Was a favorite of mine in Banshee and why I gave this series a chance only 2 weeks ago. So happy I gave this show a chance.
This show is so damn good! I thought it's just gonna be another kungfu flick without substance but it's got such a good story and interesting time period I can't stop binging it.
Dianne was adorable dropping mild spoilers but tbf having now finished it, the questions were surprisingly on point and led to those. The little drawback of having a good interviewer that did watch and loves the show!
I feel Kong Pak is like Iago from Othello who whispers into Li Yong by twisting words as he he believes Li Yong is meant for bigger things. Mai Ling's arc seriously is getting quite interesting because the philosophy of Bruce Lee comes into play with adapting to your surrounding(s) which we see for the character as she wants to understand the aristocratic society and trying to use that to her advantage to gain control of Chinatown as a whole.
Great 3rd season mostly but there's a couple of episodes that don't hit the mark for me....mainly the deportation episode and the Hermans episode...but still better than other shows
Warrior was great but I think it may be done. I hope not but just saw season 3 finale and they tied up most of the loose ends. Praying for a season 4...Didn't we just go thru this ?
