I AGREE!!!!! Best Christmas Gift ever! I love this series so much!! I’m going to go watch The Watchers tonight or Quiet prequel! I will be skipping If I’m too sensitive and I know it will destroy my life and would cry for weeks. My mom cried for days off and on after seeing it. She said “Lauren it’s way worse than when Bing Bong passed and Marley and Me don’t watch it”

Do try the Tarte creaseless undereye powder. Well worth getting in form their USA website. It has knocked prisme libre and pat mcgrath off the top spots for an undereye powder. Tarte do a variety of colours in this powder. I have the pink one (which is actually pink)

I don't watch scary movies or childrens' movies but I still enjoy listening to you and watching you apply makeup as always. You are so talented to be able to do both at the same time. I see many of these products were gifted. Good for you!! 👏🏼
Side note: Loved hearing your birds singing. And I had a black cat named Spirit who followed me around and greeted me at the door like a dog or at the bottom of the stairs every morning. She was one of a kind. Miss her so much I can't bear to get another one💔My advice: Get a kitten and carry her around everywhere on your shoulder. You will bond so much that she won't want to leave your side. Black cats are the BEST 🐈⬛
And a friend of mine got her kittens used to riding in the car and took them on walks. I think it's all how you train them 💗
I was absolutely obsessed with The Watchers. If was the first film that made me go to the theater in YEARS
Also my cat would absolutely get me killed in the Quiet Place universe because he screams at me for attention no matter what we’re doing.
I sobbed in IF too!!!

Siamese is what you need. They are emotionally supportive, like being close to humans, does not mind traveling, can go on leash and the swim very well.

Well, now so many movies to watch! Definitely a quiet place, the watched (and I am curious to see how it will be named in France, on what side of the glass are we...) and IF!

We are the watchers in France: "les guetteurs". I wished I was on the right side of the glass with you. I am really intrigued by this change of name for an other country. The rest of the world are predators, while you are good/nice people or victims? (must see the movie to understand this choice)

I definitely want to watch IF. I have been loving the CT foundation stick, I've been using it the same way you did and it's perfect. I did pass on the Sonia G brushes because they aren't in the budget right now but i absolutely love the TS brushes 😊
I love these makeup and movies videos! I saw Quiet Place Day One yesterday with my husband. Even though I've seen the other Quiet Place movies at the theater this one seemed much harder to take and it was because of the cat, lol. I was so worried about what was going on with the cat at all times it was too much for me, I was exhausted by the end! 😆😹
I was so stressed expecting the most poorly time meow of all time...

I saw IF and agree with your review. Really interesting and sweet (and sad). I was in a theater with a group of kids and at the end they all cheered and then I heard them talk about how many times they cried (they were proud of it) so I think there is an audience for some children who maybe haven’t experienced loss that young. Re Inside Out, justice for Sadness 😉 I think those of us who related to her felt seen for the first time in film but I get it, fun is usually better for the viewer.
Love your reviews. Not going to be watching Twister as I live in a state that has tornados. I am now definitely interested in watching IF.
Totally agree about bad boys. I felt like Martin Lawrence was channeling the character Tracy Jordan from 30 Rock but unsuccessfully. I was both embarrassed and concerned for him lol. sometimes I think summer movies get away with just being an excuse to sit inside air conditioning for a few hours so my expectations were pretty low 😅
He’s always been annoying, his show hurt me.
I am living for these movie reviews! I very nearly bought The Watched book but I wasn't sure if it might be too creepy for me (though I'm not sure what too creepy is in book form, I'm the girl who googles scary movie synopses rather than watching them....) LOL. Might have to check it out now though

I think the issue I had with the village was that he seemingly directly lifted the plot from a book I read as a kid called "running out of time." I think the author actually sued him because it was so similar you couldn't even argue it was a coincidence.
Still wondering how this hasn't happened for The Hunger Games directly copying Battle Royale...
Your makeup looks stunning! Thank you for the pre-warns about the films. My son is 6 & doesn't scare easily nor has he had any losses so I'll be taking him to see IF next. My fiance actually took him to see Ghostbusters (needless to say I wasn't impressed) but he laughed at it apparently & didn't find it scary at all. He does have ADHD so I wander how much he's taking in.
Loved, loved A Quiet Place 1 and 2, this one was a 3 for me, (maybe not even that )I could see it was not done by the same director, the aliens were never scared of water as we could see on movie 1, for me was only a 3, love Lupita but here her role was lost, last good movie I saw was Poor Little Things, a master piece in my humble opinion, love MNS movies like you, all of them so I must see Watchers...thanks, love the chat, the make up and the reviews...waiting for Despicable Me 4, saw the trailer, both myself and my husband love these movies...just lots of fun and adorable kids.

So… I have to begin by stating I am a fan of drama and period pieces . If it has a Jane Austen theme or even a Victorian royal family depiction, I’m in. I’m the only one in my family who likes movies like that. My guess is that you would not like the things I like. That said, since you asked what I saw recently and for a brief review, here goes…
I saw Firebrand, and I really enjoyed it. It’s about Katherine Parr. For me, she was more of a forgotten wife of Henry VIII. So, I found this movie very interesting: 8/10. I am giving it an 8 because although I enjoyed it, seeing it once is enough. I cannot count the number of times I have seen Pride and Prejudice. I have Netflix because of Bridgerton.
I decided to venture out a bit into the western genre and see Horizon with my Dad. The cinematography is wonderful. However, I can honestly say that I now know I am not a fan of westerns. The occasional, more hallmark style of western I had seen in the past cannot even be compared to what we just saw at the theater. Horizon is a more hardcore western. I also failed to note the length of the movie before watching it. Suffice it to say, I recommend being very well rested and having extra strength caffeine in hand just in case. My poor dad and I were not prepared for the length. Sadly, there were points where we nodded off for a bit. Anyway, if any of your fans like violence and a pretty raw depiction of early settler life, see this movie. I like Kevin Costner, but I don’t feel it is fair for me to rate this film. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m in no way saying it’s bad. It’s not. Rather, I’m saying we should have seen Fly Me to the Moon instead.
Well I wouldn’t watch If I was four when my dad died and my mom died from cancer!!So I would be a mess for weeks!!But I think it’s worth the teens need to see! But Charlotte, I love your story time, honey. You’re amazing.
I wish I wasn't ADD/ADHD and could sit through a movie it would be nice to sit still and pay attention to a movie for once but I can't even watch movies at home . I can't believe u went to 6 films. I love scary movies they can hold my attention more then any other film and watched sounds up my alley . Thanks for my recs u look beautiful

IF hit me in the gut. I watched it with my 13 year old and yes, definitely lots of tears, but such an unexpectedly beautiful movie. The marketing on it was way off.

Also, it's wild to me that the same man (John Krasinski💙) wrote both IF and the A Quiet Place movies😲. Shall we send a welfare check for him?

I know it “matters” how many views these videos get, BUT if views and wishes were dreams, or wait…if dreams and wishes were views…or is it wishes and views…whatever. Those of us that watch them, therefore “viewing” them, wish for them to continue and dream of…aaack 🤦🏻♀️ You get my point!! Right?? 😬
