I wish I would have known two details after preforming this somewhat successfully: 1. Be careful using a pick on the bottom edge of the screen next to the keyboard. The video ribbon is there and if you cut into it, its another $90 to get a new screen. I cut into mine. With the pick, you really dont need to go very far inside the tablet at all. 2. Theres adhesive strips for $10 from ifix it. It will make the screen reinstall much much cleaner. I used glue that came with the screen and its not flush like it used to be. After reinstalling screen, use heavy books and a flat surface for a few hours to get screen and glue to settle.
This video is very useful. Thank you very much for sharing. In the video, What was the device you applied to the screen to make the removal easy? Secondly, what are the precautions one needs to take to take so that one does not destroy the screen?

Hi, how did this repair cost? My local computer repair service has tried to convince me that they are unable to complete this repair without destroying the screen and replacing it, which would cost ~$400. Based on how easily you were able to complete the repair, I find their claim to be misleading and insulting.
Thanks for watching my video and text Just show him my repair videos and try to find any other store like who repair iPad and other brands tablets maybe they can help you Thanks
