It works this far forward, because the opponent is also far forward. If the opponent had his units further back the Fangs and Wraith would separate due to their difference in movement speed. You can bring the Wraith closer to Fang speed by slowing it down with tech which could work.
Wraith is definitely creeping up towards rhino as one of my favourite meme units. They've both got their own ways of causing mischief and at their higher levels can be a real problem.

Overlords counter wraith way to easy.
My main objection to how Sacco plays Wraith is that I consider having both armor and repair a must.That lets you counter the counters punishing weak responses.
I have to disagree about Degenerate beam with you as well, it's strong when Wraith is used as support unit, but not when used as the main carry unit.
why armor and repair? normally they get countered with phoenix and phoenix nearly allways have emp. Or they pick Marksmen which has emp to, so these upgrades are useless after 1 shot
I always think Mars Attacks when I see a bunch of Wraiths advancing over the field.
Red definitely played too aggro against wraiths so this is to be expected.
Now if I had to nerf wraiths in some way, it would be by making their projectiles "missiles" so Mustangs or turrets can prevent them from playing aggro themselves.
No, that is a bad idea because mustangs are already so powerful, lets not make it counter another unit.
I am pretty sure sacco and RAT are the same person so yeah… he kinda does do this all the time

Wraith scales too quickly IMO
I think it's mostly down to how versatile they are - if they don't get outranged and killed, they have enough DPS to chunk down single targets, and enough RoF (with all the turrets) to decently contribute to chaff clear, meaning they're just harder to hard counter than most imo.
The main advantage in the scaling is that the multi cannons and splash makes the damage relevant and not overkill while the high health makes the extra health from leveling also relevant. Most units only have one of those. But the unit have plenty of downsides making upsides a must.
@@znail4675 frankly the only issue with this unit is the range, and it is "fixable": enough chaff, and with luck a laser sight, (and even the level perk) and you get an unstopable unit
Btw i even won against mass melting points with that
Damage output should be lower, or range even lower
