I’m a believer , that’s one beautiful mean mustang . I’m partial to 67 as I own one myself but wow not like this beast. Love it !!! The stance , the sound, the details ,the mods , the paint. Great video
Now this is a proper restomod. So refreshing to not see a small block Chevy. Beautiful car Amazing sounding motor 😎👍 And don't get me wrong I'm just a purist. Nothing wrong with Chevrolet, they build awesome engines. I believe that if it's a Ford car it should have a Ford power plant. Chevy should have a Chevy power plant. Honda, 'Yoter, Dodge ect... So on and so forth. Just my opinion. 😎
You never get old driving a Mustang. At 71 I still have my 1966 Gt 350 Shelby Mustang with only 61,000 miles on it. Second owner bought in 1971 for 1000.00 dollars. Candy Apple Red with white stripes 4 speed 389 locker pulling about 380 horses out of a hypo 289. It is still a fast car when it was new and now too. Boy does it gets the looks when she is out.
I have a 67 stang for 30 years now. I love the black widow paint on the diff! Looks like the Arni drop has been done, makes a huge difference in handling. Fun cars! And this looks like every other vehicle I've seen when someone loves to add things, they go all out.
Perfect stance on that mustang and it did the video damn good too the way he did it different than most we're actually end up falling in love with the car by the end of the video yourself as I love this first time I saw it right in the beginning.
Hands down One of the baddest 67 coups I've Ever seen ! Love the stance and the stuffed rubber on the rear ! Thats how ya do it ! Well done ! Excellent sound track as well...
The "Black Widow" Rear End is COOL as ICE!! I really like how all the OLD automobiles have mostly all METAL parts (door handles, metal lock cylinders embedded DIRECTLY into the METAL doors, the grille, etc.) They were so much better built QUALITY that gives you way more DURABILITY than the cheap-ass plastic parts on today's vehicles!!
Beautiful 67! I had a 67 myself but had to sell it to get my ass out of jail. 😥 It needed work and a lot of $ to make my vision of her a reality. Another goal to obtain another 67.
OMG! Hear that V8 growl @3:54 . Beautiful car Mister John. Can I be your neighbor? :-P Any videos showing more of the car and its features? Especially love the dashboard layout - looks almost like a fighter jet interior.
Yes cubic inches, Its based on the 385 series ford block used for the 429's and 460's. I don't know the exact combo to get to 523 but for this class that is pretty small. A good stock four bolt iron block can go 575 easy and in aftermarket iron blocks 600+" is easy. If you have deep pockets aluminum tall blocks can go into the 700+ range. The money is irrelevant options use aluminum blocks with increased bore spacing and deck heights to go into the 800+ range I've heard tails of 900" monsters as well. Kind of the base level in these engines is a 514" 4.440 bore and a offset grind on the stock iron 460 crank to 4.150" stroke, you cut the crank rod size from ford size to BBC size and take the difference as added stroke. I always used a 6.8" rod length as these are easy and cheaper to get as BBC parts and made bottom end piston to crank clearance issues go away. The 575 ( 4.5 x 4.5) will easy peasy make 1000 hp NA with good heads. So yeah 523 is really on the small end of the spectrum for these engines.
