I have a question for you, I have a M8 2017 and they run not as lean as a twin cam. There is about a 10% leeway on the M8. My question is if I put slip-ons with a high flow Air filter do I really need a tune? Remember I'm still using my M8 cover so the air flow would be a little less then say an full open Air filter. Thank you and nice videos.
Your not gonna need a retune to ride the bike but you will feel a difference and it will probably pop and crackle through the exhaust when you decel and probably need to give it more throttle to get the bike moving
Hey quick question so with my 13 72 it came with the arlen ness big sucker (bought used) I was told to switch to another cleaner like vance and hines so I could vent the blow by out of the bike. I just got my first m8 do you recommend that for these engines as well?
vented dipstick or vented the transmission cover have been known to help with blow by and also breather bolts for your aircleaner

Just from appearance alone it sticks out quite a bit and I’m not sure how good it would be running lowers on the bike because it looks like picks up better from the front hence ram air. Shouldn’t be bad on power especially in real world conditions

Yeah there's been some research on both of them but I don't have any real numbers myself

Is there any condensation or oil blow back? Does it need an external kit like Trask assault?
If it doesn't have an external breather kit it will def get that oil mist on the window.
With the front spoiler piece that goes down the front from the fairing to the oil cooler does that interfere with the oil filter?

What do you do when. Riding in rain
Keep it riding! If you can't see pull over. It won't hurt anything more than if you had any other filter. You're gonna lose the color in the filter when it gets wet.
How easy is it for the glass to break by a rock flying to it ? I was looking into a vance and hines glass naked filter

Not that I know of think you have to put the k&n filter inside of it.
