Really love this book. About to finish Words of Radiance and this story just continues to blow me away in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I also go Oathbringer and Rhythm of War for my bday!!

Words of radiance is insane, I got to page 800 one day and finished it the same night, it’s impossible to put down after a certain scene you will know when you get there
“Dalinar Murdered King’s brother” Sounds like a spoiler that he murdered the brother of the king, rather than he is the brother of the murdered king lol Yeah, this book absolutely rocked. Couldn’t put it down once I got to the last third, and stayed up real late a couple nights in a row to finish it. Epic
I’ve been on the Sanderson ride since him finishing up wheel of time. If you search, it’s really cool hearing how Robert Jordan’s widow reached out to him and how he moved forward from there. Like his free seminars but so glad he’s back writing stormlight. Mistborn and Alloy series’s are awesome too! The Way of Kings hooked me like no other! Great video!
It was my first Branderson book. I thought it was very imaginative. It threw you into the deep end which is a lot at first because this world is wildly different than our own. But also .. bro I can see the mormon influences. And the prose makes it read like it's a YA novel. Even though I somewhat enjoyed it, I quit after the chasm fiend fight that Dalinar and co are involved in. I also thought the girl was horrible. She gets better over time but when she was introduced on that ship, she was unbearably "quirky". She was the type of quirky that was Mormon TM improved it seemed. And all the guys LOVED her .. all the sailors loved this girl, who to me just came across as extremely annoying. But as I said she becomes better when she meats the princess / apostate lady and starts hatching a plan to steal her magic hand thingy .. Ho and the pren/fren whatever the tiny spirit creatures are called.. yeah fk those. Who thought that was a good idea? Can you imagine talking with a friend, a loved one, someone important, someone of higher rank and you're really annoyed or bored and the pren things start giving away you true emotions? Can you imagine having a drink with your best friend and his girl and just momentarily while drunk you have a thought about his girl you shouldn't have? Or you're talking to a girl you like? Or you're talking to an enemy and fear pren show all over? It's legit the dumbest thing. I get giving the main character the spirit thing or making them pretty common. But to have them give away people's emotions is crazy. That would mess up so many interactions and constantly cause trouble. We no longer would have our thoughts to ourselves because these pos troll ghost fairies like to give away our feelings and thoughts. anyway it's been over a year or so. I will eventually finish at least the way of kings. But there are so many other books I want to read first.
It’s incredibly long and dense, but I’ve been enjoying them for the most part. Shallan only gets more cringey, but the other characters work really well. I’m about to start book 4 soon.

It’s really not that great as a fantasy series People Ned to understand that fantasy or a good story is not only building characters create worlds There needs to be a soul to it, conviction and cohesion of interrelation of magic and that world The work of Sanderson is more like professional that he has to write As compared to Tolkien , Martin who were mostly inspired Martins work is way better The magic is just 5 percent The problem with Sanderson Is his magic is like chemistry more like comical

It was SO good! Can’t wait to get to Words of Radiance. I’m currently about a quarter of the way through Warbreaker and really enjoying it!
The series is seriously one any fan of the genre should read. It’s amazing.
Kaladin: "Convoluted past" I CRY LMAO
It’s tough to summarize him as a character in 10 seconds without spoiling anything lol

It would take me two years to do that😅
after a certain scene? I picked it up and never put it back down. finished it in 5 6 days. In the middle of my exams

Yo RIP in power to the king. Definitely looking to start on the Sanderson journey this year.

Eff no, no RIP to Gavilar, no way
Fuck the spoilers! Fuck the spoilers!
Nice.....havent seen many book reviews on here.
Jasnah is neither Dalinar or "Murdered King"'s sister
Misunderstood the family tree at first!
She is dalinar's niece and gavilars daughter
It actually starts with the end of a desolation…
Loved it, and looking forward to reading the rest. I did find it a little slow, though.
Buckle up - fantastic series! I’m officially caught up on all the cosmere books as of earlier this year.
Bad Santa background music. Epic.
Shallan does not want to be Dalinars apprentice or Gavilars sister but his daughter. Great review tho
As previously addressed in my videos caption/description, and a previous comment. Thanks though.
@@connormatthew No worries. Wonder how that slipped through
not sure how you can stomach Shallan, but that’s just me. nice review!
50 years from now I'll still be thinking about that cover
I'm on Oathbringer right now, and this seires is amazing
I’m reading Rhythm of War soon. Glad you’re enjoying the series!
This book is amazing, it’s kinda long but worth itz
Clear note: HE DID NOT MURDER THE KING'S BROTHER!
HE is THE KING'S BROTHER
they ALL have convoluted pasts (I was going to write “especially ____” but then I realized that that’s impossible)
I first saw this book after finishing Wheel of Time. I was too fatigued to pick it up at that point.

I had to read the comments on Dalinar a few times.
I didn't know he murdered the king's brother.
Oh wait, he IS the murdered king's brother.
Should’ve preceded that with “the” 😅
I am about to finish book 4. Its been a rollercoaster to say the least…

Just finished Rythm of War. And the best chapter I've ever read is in it, it's called Dabbid.
I’m onto Rhythm of War next. Just finished Dawnshard!
Just finished this book and it’s seriously for damn badasss dude haha

Don’t read this book because you’ll become addicted, finish them all, then sit in despair as nothing will compare.

Have you read Mistborn? It's a really good series, too.

I dont care much for Shalla yet. Im 2/5 of the way done. But Kaladin and Dalinar are so damn interesting to read.

There are currently 4 main books out at the moment, but I believe the author intends to make it a 10-book series.

Why is the book so small?
That’s what mass market paperbacks look like 👍
The hardcover version is bigger? Beacause i found it awful to read such small leters
I hate kaladin. He is mehhhh. Nothing unique about him. Just what you would expect from a main character
