    Thanks for the videos! I've started watching all of them. I am about to purchase a very nice 1997 16ft Scamp! My brother owned it, sold it, and I am buying it from that family friend. It is the #4 floor plan. And it looks like it has almost EVERY optional item you could get! Can't wait to get it here in California from Tampa Florida. Supposed to happen this month. I am retiring my 13ft Burro from like 1971 or so. It was built by someone from the kit that they offered. It needs a lot of work but has been great fun for many years now. Looking forward to watching more of your videos until my Scamp arrives.
    Thanks

    Why aren't you guys making new videos anymore? I really enjoy watching them. We are looking into ordering a scamp in the next year or so.

    I know you’re not making new videos… really loved seeing your family out on adventures!!! I have a question if you see this… I ordered a 13, delivery is 8/23. I know it will follow my Passport perfectly. However… the 16 w/bath would be even better. Trouble is finding solid numbers on the trailer weights. Dry, empty, full… I remember when you pulled yours with your van you mentioned your trailer weighed around 22-2300lbs. Was that empty or full? Passport can tow 3500, but I’m cautious about the reality and safety on the roads. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

    Sorry about your truck. I just got a 2008 scamp. What do you do to keep your scamp looking so nice outside. I’m getting a chalk look about. What do you use on yours? Thank you.

      @@ourscamplife5210. Thanks for writing back. Your videos were extremely helpful in our decision to purchase a new Scamp 16' deluxe. Unfortunately we have to wait until June 1, 2023 for pickup in Backus. We're 1001 in line. We live in Netarts, Oregon; a 4 day drive. Thanks again for all of your videos and sharing your adventures with us.

    Can you tell me what size the bed ends up being? Do you find it too small? Can you find sheets to fit it? Love your videos. Looking to buy a scamp next spring!

    Hi just watched an older video of yours on the solar panels. I have a newer camp 16 and worry about using the furnace in my cold climate, but would like to use it more for winter camping, and don't want to run the battery down. So with your solar panels do you somehow hook it directly to the existing scamp battery? You don't have to buy another battery and store it inside? I don't really use a lot of energy other than keeping warm when it's cold.I am interested in the idea of just being able to use a trickle charge on the scamp battery. I am originally from Minnesota as you guys are but now live in the mountains of Idaho!

    Have y'all found out what the damage is to the engine yet?

    • @ourscamplife5210
      @ourscamplife5210  4 года назад

      yes the transcooler was damaged, and the A/C condenser. We also had to replace the rack and pinion? and a "boot." The front hood was tweaked and got a new bumper and grill. Thanks for asking.
