- Turns out the latest 2024 Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee really can go anywhere. I was recently in Yorkshire and got the opportunity to drive both car on the road and on a range of off-road surfaces. No mattter how tough the conditions they just kept on going !

Enjoyed this a lot, thanks. Had my 2020 4 Dr Wrangler Overland for 2yrs now & LOVE IT. Very capable & even helped pull cars out of mud at the Wickham Festival! Owning it makes me happy. 👍

Yorkshire.....that was a long way to go, remember the Jeep event I did was in Surrey, brought home a sapling to offset our footprint.....it's doing very well 😁
I'm currently on my 3rd Wrangler, a JL 2 door sport. Previous ones were a 4 door and another 2 door (both Overlands). The 4 door is definitely better on road and also a bit more practical but like you Ped, I prefer the look of the 2 door as it looks better, is easier to manoeuvre and is just that wee bit cooler!
We had a few days of rain here in Sydney and today was a classic sunny autumn day. I went out and opened my roof. I found 4 other jeeps with the roof open too and I got /gave 4 jeep waves. I Love My Jeep!
I remember when jeep came out with quadrtrac a 4 wheel automatic drive system 👌🏽😎
Its actually incredible how capable that wrangler was. Particularly on the rock crawling. Only thing is they are expensive these days.

Love the Grand Cherokee it’s just for me the perfect Jeep. The others are fun but the Grand Cherokee just has something about it that I’ve always liked! Another great video Ped
My two door JL sport S Jeep is stock standard except:
Rock sliders
Sunrider soft top
I added recovcery hooks under the front bumper. I thought I would never use them. I used them 3 days after installation!
Chunky tyres, the same diamater as the original
I placed a sticker, a small star, the same diamater as the fuel filler, on the right side of my jeep to match the fuel filler.
My rear bumper has plenty of track damage
My jeep has a few scars making it unique 😀

I have never been a car guy. Dunno the difference between a valve rod and a foxtail overhead door handle. I. LOVe. MY JEEP! I am Australian with a two door JL Sport S in Mojito and a sunrider soft top. I confirm that I drive off road with my local jeep club. I. Love. My Jeep!

Happy Friday evening everyone. Glass of wine and a nice look at my back yard. DL8 sectors 3,4,5. Great place, watch out for the mobile speed cameras. Around Haws with all the nice twistys. Can’t recommend these enough. Big soft spot for jeep. We ran a commander for a few years and no complaints. Silky smooth merc v6 diesel. Nice video ped. Could just murder some fish and chips in Haws.
My old M38-A1 would have loved this……a good stretch of its legs😂👌🏽

Having owned three Rubicons, you are spot on with your comments. They have their quirks, but there's something about the Wrangler that makes it fun on and off road. It's the type of vehicle people love or hate.

i take it non of the heaters worked in the cars you had thick coats on and look cold ,, ive got a grand cherokee demo booked in a few weeks so this was great as always thanks

A very capable bit of kit that looks on a par with Land Rover and also has the heritage albeit an American Icon.
Off road, Wrangler is superior to the Defender. On road, the Defender is clearly better. The Wrangler has character and a jeep wave. The Defender has better headlights. For headlights, my jeep continues to use candlelight. I Love My Jeep!
Love your Jeep content as I'd like to take my now 20😮 yr old Jeep on something like that, not been seriously off road as bought it purely as a tow car which it excels at. I'd like to see what it really is capable of over that sort of terrain.

Looks like great fun! Another RUclipsr I watch recently acquired a Rubicon to transport my favourite Husky named Sherpa around the place, and they both love it!

Peter…catching up still after a bit of a week…but we are here! The Jeep is an icon brand and I bought one…they impress in the showroom and are capable off road…but the reliability was dreadful…I could never buy another but understand why you liked them and what they can do! I’m looking forward to your new car updates…I’m a bit behind just yet…I saw you are planning a garage upgrade…I’m interested in that so best catch up fast then!! Richard😀😀😀😀

Pedro picked the wrong week. Over on the Late Brake Show Jonny takes on possibly worse "roads" in a yellow partially lifted current model Daihatsu Pi"can't"o complete with some sort of rave glow stick on the back. To be fair it's very different content, but I kept thinking "yeah, Picanto could do this" 😛 😊. As for Pedro, mountain bike sounds like a great idea 👍

How is the Wrangler 4XE on the tarmac, when it comes to wind/road/tire noise, is it okay to use on longer trips on motorways..🤔

Mopar or no car! (Would be good to bring that up to date but not much rhymes with Stellantis 🤪). North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales? All very confusing for us Southerners when our geography knowledge gets a bit hazy north of the South Downs/Midhurst/Petworth. 😜

Are the oversized front bumpers euro/UK spec? What's are they like wading capabilities?
Not sure if the bumpers are different outside of Europe. Wrangler will wade up to 34” (85cm). Grand Cherokee is 24” 👍
There is a plate inside the tail gate with the wading specs. Just below the headlights. I have gone above the headlights without an issue

Between £60 and £80 grand for jeep. They are the very poorly made and not worth the money.
