I was at Balafon Resort last week for 5 days. i must confessed that their services are superb and the architectural design is unique and a masterpiece. I am inspired by the interview.
I have recently visited Gambia and stayed at the Balafon. I met Mr Omar Jawara (Partner) and Mr Omar Sowe (Manager of Balafon) both amazing people and passionate about the Balafon. I was told of the other hotels and sought to research them via RUclips. Balafon is my best, I just love it. I am happy to hear Mr Malleh Sallah speaking on all great things him, his partner and staff have achieved. I feel proud and I am not from there. In the words of Bob Marley, "I was stolen from Africa", well at least my ancestors were. Yes I am so happy to know that someone is there working hard to put Gambia on the map and for Gambians to be involved in the process. I salute you all and I look forward to my next stay at the Balafon. Mashiyat Allah

I listened to his interview until the end and he was so passionate about his people. And he want to hire more staff as soon as this covid thing get better. Great job Mr. Malleh..
As a fellow Gambian citizen I'm truly proud of Mr Malleh sallah and Mr Omar Jawara and I cannot wait to come home from the UK to play my part in nation building as well. I wish them all the success in their business ventures
Congratulations, it touches my heart to know Gambians have full ownership of these hotels he mentioned. This how #GenerationalWealth is built. Love & Peace.
Beautiful to see Africans running things. Most often we see no Africans operating hotels and other businesses on the continent, nothing wrong with that but the majority of our businesses should be in the hands of Africans. I was shocked for instance in Zanzibar to discover that majority of the hotels are run by non Africans especially Italians and the locals are left to run small hotels that dp not attract the masses. Well done my fellow Africans. I will be visiting Gambia in October my 3rd time and all thanks to Wode Maya and Ms Trudy videos. Lets support our continent. Much LOVE from East Africa.//
Wow! The hotel looks beautiful. I'm just surprised they don't have any rooms with two beds. It's more fun to take a girls weekend when you can share a room!
Hahaha 😆 😂 this guys are the biggest 419 in the Gambia and all over Africa believe it or not looked this guy properly properly properly viewer's seriously
That’s odd people there who have knowledge say it is not 100 percent Gambian owned yet UNTIL the “other” investors get their money back. Aesthetics is nice. Front desk staff needs to learn how to let people know to wait their turn in line thats for black and white people. The owner thats speaking could use some managerial classes with people who look like him. He certainly didnt speak to any black guests but he certainly had lots to say to guests who didnt look like him.
I disagree with you on the way he spoke on people that visit his resort. He said everyone will be welcome and treated with the utmost respect. He spoke very well.. I would live to visit there. And I've heard other people of his color said this is a very good resort to stay. I'm so happy for him.. I don't care what we of color do. There's someone always trying to tear us down. And I wanted to say Mr. Malleh is a very handsome man. Very professional.. if i ever make it to Gambia i will stay at his resort. It's very beautiful..
