    Do any of you use a non-standard controller on a Neo Geo?

    Thank you Lu. We on the Neo-Geo thread on Atariage.com are glad to help you. If you need anymore assistance, feel free to ask and will do our best to give a hand for sure. That arcade stick that you're working on has our attention. That will be really cool to see the end results of it once you complete it bro. 8^)

    What I want to know and have been messaging sellers/modders is if wireless controllers work with the NeoGeo, such as the SN30 Pro Plus and the SNES adapter. Or the original infrared wireless Saturn controllers with the large receiver. Any thoughts?

      They should work with the correct adapter. Check out my video on how I got a genesis controller working on a NeoGeo. There are also adapters for SNES and Saturn controllers. Here's the video

    Fantastic video this is Lu. Really enjoyed this informative and well thought out video by you in which you took the time from your busy schedule to share with us bro. Thank you for the shout out to the Neo-Geo thread on AtariAge.com and posting it on there for us to benefit fro,. I made a reply back to you on it as well.
    I'm sorry that you have to go through the hassle on the time, money, and buying all that material need for the controllers, but if was truly justified seeing your skills in action in which you help the community by showing us the fine details on doing custom work like you done. Plus, the idea of doing a arcade stick really caught our attention, and would love to see you do that project for sure Lu.
    Thank you as always for your dedication. Keep it up bro. We love to see more from you soon. 8^)

      Thank you Anthony! One of my goals when decided to do the mod, or anything new I try, was to least have fun and learn something. I definitely accomplished that. I also want the Neo Geo community to benefit from what I learned so they at least have some new options to consider.
      You and the AtariAge.com Neo Geo thread have been very helpful so I also appreciate that. I'm really excited for my and am already doing research on what I need. Thanks again!

    Nice video, I've converted a SNES pad to 15 pin for an Evercade mod that I worked on, but followed the SNK mapping so need to test on my Neo Geo CD. Video over on my channel if you were interested.

    Is ground the only controller connector you have to solder since +5v is unused?

    Nice .. can this work with an original snes controller ? and what about ps1 or ps2 controllers ?

    • @lustechsource5197
      @lustechsource5197  4 года назад

      Yes it will work on an original SNES pad, but I personally would prefer to keep those stock. It wold probably need a different method to work on a PS1 or 2 pad. www.r2tronik.com was adapters that let you use SNES, Genesis, PS1 and Saturn pads on a NeoGeo. That would be the easiest way.
