I think it's interesting that part of the title of this is "Okay, Computer!" because it reminds me a bit of Fitter Happier from Radiohead's Ok Computer album, both of which are a commentary on society (with Fitter Happier being a commentary on social conformity, and this being commentary on social media).
Ok this is such a nice surprise, just going onto yt to check notifications then this pops up! Omg I’m so excited aaaa. I already know I’ll be playing it on loop like the other masterpieces Will has posted recently. Wonder what this song will bring? Tears, laughter, and definitely a hum once I’ve got the melody lmao. And it’s only 10 days away aaaa!
this feels like a sort of "update" to fitter happier in response to the social media age, which is interesting because fitter happier itself remains extremely relevant and topical (along with the rest of ok computer)
Here’s my take on this: The visuals are the most interesting so I’m going to start there. The sheep represent people (the billboard at the end literally has sheeple on it) and the factory represents social media. It systematically changes these peoples thoughts. In one scene we see a blade cut off the sheeps outer wool to reveal their emotions. The way that the machine does this is cold and systematic. The fluff that comes before the emotions are condensed and forced into other people. I think that the sheep growing green represents them having formed opinions on the matter purely based on social media. My other theory on what this could mean is that they are going green with envy because they couldn’t jump over the fence but it would make much sense in the social media theory so I’m not going to build in it. Back to what I was saying before that paragraph; them feeding the green stuff to the rat is them feeding it to the new generation of sheeple so that way the process can start all over again. The fish man is a capitalist who is in charge of these corporations and the skeleton gripping the earth in fire represents how doomed we all are. The voice in the background is social media. As you go deeper and deeper into it it gets more and more overwhelming. The words that she says are all buzzwords. The music uses the piano to frame the whole thing as tragic. All of this combines to make a great video. Well done, Will Wood. You made a video so great that people will be up at 1 am constructing theories.
Such an interpretive and interesting work of art. The internet gave us much more than we could have expected, we view more in a day than observe the things around us. Unable to tell fantasy from reality, fiction from nonfiction, and more. All because were so caught up in the algorithm, its like moths drawn into a light, flies stuck in a fly trap, just a never ending loop of title after title after title. One of the best hidden messaged videos i could have ever seen!
Wow. Okay first of all this made me feel very.. creeped out, the voice, the animations, the sound effects and lastly the message is very scary when you put it all together. I think we don't really realize how the internet is a very scary place by simply liking an post you will get all these recommendations and if we do it over and over again it's like the internet is trying to grab information of us so it can fill us with entertainment meaning the internet knows us and it's scary to think about it, how come when it's our society we want privacy but when it comes to the internet it's fine? The internet knows our birthday, name, age, friends, favorite celebrities, favorite musics etc. It's scary when we fight for our privacy (famous or not) on the internet but little do we know that the villain is in front of our faces all along. I might be REALLY out of topic but i guess i just wanted to share it.

going kinda bonkers right now.
I’m very excited for this! I’ve been in a radiohead phase for a *while*, and if this title is referencing what it most likely is, that’d be amazing to me!
The music video also looks cool, judging off the thumbnail. i can’t wait for this!
edit, post premiere: oh, god! i am pleasantly surprised! of course, it wasn't a full song, but i did get Fitter Happier vibes from it. I feel that this song may be an overture, an interlude, maybe even a closing to the album.
TRAUMADUMP GASLIGHT
i liked this.
So Junes going to be an epic month as well! When I get a new van I’m going to have to go on a road trip to get a chance to listen to all the great music that’s come out this year!
whaaaat?? i’m not a patreon member so im not exactly in the loop, but i’d heard stuff beforehand about cicada days and tomcat disposables - but this? i haven’t heard anything about this! it’s gonna be a complete surprise to me and im so excited for it!!
Okay, so, not a music video, more of a short film…you know what, I can dig that.
this feels like a sort of "update" to fitter happier in response to the social media age, which is interesting because fitter happier itself remains extremely relevant and topical (along with the rest of ok computer)
This is the song ever
Here’s my take on this:
The visuals are the most interesting so I’m going to start there.
One of the best hidden messaged videos i could have ever seen!
will wood in his radiohead era
Can not imagine what this will possibly sound like
I can’t wait for this to release!
I..... Like the feels of this? It scratches My Brain and i think this is genius
How do you predict your own cancellation like 2 months before it happens 💀💀 crazy
I might be REALLY out of topic but i guess i just wanted to share it.
looking at the description and i cant wait for this one
0:22 Will Wool
I did, in fact, liked this.
This was beautiful Will. Nice homage to Radiohead and at the same time wonderful artistic statement
Ohhhh! The description is interesting! I’m excited to hear the story in this song!!!
