If you really want to get things done, you need to abandon the fiat currency created as debt and return to honest money: gold and silver. That will not allow anybody in government to abuse the power as the quantity of money cannot be manipulated and people robbed through inflation and debt slavery. Crooks from power will disappear then just as mist disappears in sunlight.

It is all too common in recent history (from all parties in Canada) there has been a lack of discourse. It has for some time even before the discovery of covid it has been "I'm right, and you're wrong" accompanied by blame. You put together very compelling arguments every time I hear you speak. Mr. Poilievre your presentation of an argument is what I believe politics is. All of parliament, regardless of party would do well to look to you as an example of political decorum.

He can’t...oddly enough, my 24 year old Nephew pointed it out to me...the Conservatives need someone who isn’t “scary” to front the party, O’toole, isn’t scary. and honestly? He’s very well spoken and very much in control when you hear him speak. He’s the front to appeal to the younger generation. Pierre is very passionate, but also very scary...he’s smart, DAMN smart, but he’s also very direct and that can work against him if/when the next election rolls around. That’s likely why he stepped down..he probably understood that and realized that he will be able to do more good from his present position.
So in short, O’toole is the “nice” face of the Conservative party and Pierre is the “serious” face of the Conservative party. I personally have a lot of high hopes on those two to sort things out. There is an election coming, moron boy is going going to push one because the posters are making him think he has a pretty good chance of winning...and if those two can’t be heard, and the younger generation, and more specifically, those people in Ontario and Quebec don’t hear them, we’re doomed...just as Pierre is predicting...

Pierre, I commend you for taking the time to do this analysis and warn our politicians and the general public about the risk of a debt crisis in Canada. I am an economist with over 40 years of teaching and consulting experience. Using the same criteria I correctly forecast the great financial crisis in the US in 2008, the housing correction of 1990 and the Canadian fiscal crisis back in 1992, and the recovery of our housing market back in 1998. You are correct in every count and we are heading into a deep financial crisis worse than the one we endured in the mid-1990s. My forecast is that the current deficit spending of the feds and money creation by our central bank only serves to postpone the inevitable by two more years, but when the reckoning occurs the damage will be far greater.

I went to a dentist in a small town in southwestern Ontario in December (town of Wingham). They checked my temperature upon entry and asked if I had any symptoms.
My roommate at the same time was traveling from Toronto to Pickering via subway, gotrain and then working in an old age home doing renovations. They never checked his temperature or asked him questions about his health upon entry. He worked there for two weeks.
The government doesn't give a crap about the elderly or about anybody else for that matter.
And they never will.
California shutdown in December because their hospitals were close to being at "full capacity". Now their hospitals capacity is 3x higher yet with biden in office now, their government chooses to lift the lockdown restriction.

I don't understand what you mean by "the budget will balance itself". Money is debt. You can't equate the government to your average household. It's literally the biggest entity in our economy, and without it, money would literally have no value.
Your comment is not addressing the correct issue. Sure, having a debt/GDP ratio that is too high is not prudent management. But, what's even worse, is what the government spends that money on. If you want to complain about the man child at 24 Sussex, at least complain about how the corresponding assets they are choosing to invest in with that debt are bad decisions.
