Gabby, this was a brilliant idea! You gave us an insight into all the thought that goes into Tim and your vlogs. He thinks about "views" and "shots" while he's driving a boat - crazy. This gave me a much deeper appreciation for his talent, and yours! Keep on vloggin'
I've been watching Tim and his hotel travels for about 6 months now - absolutely wonderful. Its refreshing and comfortable to watch his videos. He always looks clean and fresh and a pleasure to watch.
Great video. Would love to watch a video of Tim editing and all the hard work that goes into it. People don’t appreciate the hard work that goes into editing to make the videos as good as you do.
Mad respect for the work that it takes for you both to make these entertaining and informative videos. And love seeing Caspar in the shots. He’s adorable!
It was funny seeing tim panic about the boat moving and you was calm asf 😂😂 but I was great seeing behind the scenes how tim makes his videos and amount off effort what goes in to them
I think the two of them should do more of these “behind the scenes” videos. Tim’s videos seem faultless so it’s fun to see how wrong that can be. You two are so much fun.
This is class !! Time videos always look so flawless, you forget the amount of work that goes into making it that way. Also, thumps is the BEST kid !!! He’s sooooo patient !! Great kid, fab parents 🎉🎉🎉
I saw Tim's "actual" video, so to watch this is a little "out of body" experience, but I really like it. I'm a fan of behind the scenes stuff. To hear how windy and noisy it was, as you can't tell from his mic. And to see him making a few takes. I also noticed in the "mooring" part, he must have come and put that camera out there already, to get that shot. So to see why, and how he did that was rather good. I'm in South Lincolnshire, so not terribly far from Norfolk. Would love to meet you both, or the three of you one day. Tho not been to Norwich in a long time. Costessey is lovely. Great chip shops and boating area there. Simon. PS. well done Gaby. Proper job!!
Gaby, very nice... You made me laugh so much when Tim was trying to turn the boat around opposite that pub. When you said ' The people looking through the windows of the pub are probably saying ' What is is this geezer doing'?? lol
Great Vlog Gaby and I really appreciate all the hard work you and Tim put into all your content, planning, presentation, setting up, editing and time, to produce the wonderful professional finished production. Your presentation skills are so good because in my view, you give such honest appraisals of your experiences and in such a lovely natural, relatable manner. You certainly both have a great sense of humour and I’m sure at times you need it. Balancing family time with your work must be a real challenge. Your commitment and work ethic is to be admired. Thank You Both of you and well done 👏👏👏
Just watching this on TV, absolutely brilliant insight into what both of you go through to bring us great content and you're right, it is bloomin' hard work but so worth it 💕
Tim 'You went to France on a boat?!'......what is so strange about that, Tim?? 🤣 Love the nautical tops, and thanks for the insights, we know you work hard and you deserve all the rewards.
I’ve been enjoying Tim’s videos for a while (in fact his Potter’s Resort video made hubby and I decide we’re going to go there next year). I didn’t realise you had videos too Gaby, so this is my first one of yours I’ve seen and I’ve loved it (and of course subscribed). Thanks both of you, and sweet little Caspar, for hours of enjoyment. What a lovely family you are! 😊
The videos are great!! Very much appreciate all the hard work to give the public entertaining and informative content.. and family friendly too .. thank you..
Nah, not much work at all! I find their videos easy to watch, not difficult at all! Lol 😂 Seriously, I realise that they put a lot a work into creating a video.
@scottlewisparsons9551 Your brain thinks to magic. .I think when some people start RUclips channels, they don't realise what goes into it? Some do, but up to a certain point, it's like HOLY.....L

When I walked past this morning on a dog walk I thought of Tim and how he would love to stay there. Just a suggestion for Tim Google Radford Castle b and b, Hooe, Plymouth.
Tim always make it look so easy on his videos, but seeing how much go into it is an eye opener. He was obviously born to do this! You are such a lovely family and its so nice that you are "you!" Following you every week all the way from Cape Town South Africa! We love watching you both. ⭐

In the age of Social Media Fakeness™️ I absolutely love how you guys seem real. I Found Tims videos on pontins probably like 2 years ago and have been enjoying you both since every week. I never watch family content on RUclips but I can’t help but love seeing you all. Thanks for the behind the scenes, I did one video blog years ago and it was so much harder than you think, so well done to yall for making it look so easy. PS Tell Tim to NEVER give up the people-in-shower bit 😂
Yeah they’re the only family vlogs I really enjoy too. They’re very real but also they’re not using Casper to exploit the camera, Casper is there as a side point, which I love
Absolutely love this. It’s always great watching you two. So interesting to see how Tim puts everything together aswell and then always releases such a pro looking video. Really felt for him when the boat was drifting. Bless. The wine was well needed! Thanks so much Gaby. More, more! (Or should I say moor) Brilliant.
We went to the Norfolk broads years ago. And we thoroughly enjoyed it I was a bit unsure like you. My son was a about ten . And I have photos of him sitting riding the boat with his captain's hat on . I was a little bit nervous when that happened. Tim was right about starting the engine it gives you more power. We done it a lot when we done the Scottish lochs.
I absolutely love the behind the scenes video. But I have to admit, I felt so anxious for you guys. Hello from Northwest Georgia in the U.S. I love the videos y’all put out. Keep up the good work ❤
Very interesting to see the amount of toil that goes into a video. You should try a proper Canal barge & do Foxton locks it’s great in the summer with the banks lined by tourists clambering to help 😊
I never thought I'd be subscribing to a husband/wife team? Great seeing "The other side", as it were. Thanks for the great vlog, you have a new subscriber in me. P.S. My wife loved it too and she never watches RUclips..?
As a video creator myself, It’s great to see how others create their videos. It’s amazing how much time and effort goes into developing content. Really appreciate you both! Take care ❤
Great job Gaby. Behind the scenes look is fun. Hope you and Tim and Thumps enjoyed your time together. A lot of work goes into these vlogs . We appreciate you both💕👏🏻
Evening Gaby, didn't realise how much work goes into making vlogs, great insight, but mostly I hope you all had an amazing time, your all fantastic and love watching all your and Tim's vlogs, have a lovely evening 🤗
Wow thank you excellent idea and video of bloopers next behind the scenes. Watched the boat video just so heart warming when Tim kept calling you darling and you to Tim just so happy for both of you a loving couple. God bless ,kisses for Caspar
I've been watching you from the beginning, I'm enjoying your videos, thank you🥰🤩 I can imagine how much organization and work these videos cost, so I have a lot of respect for what you do
I’ve seen the video about the boat that she’s talking about. It’s funny by the end of it. She is definitely into it. I think it turns out to be an experience that she absolutely loves. At least that’s the feeling I get from it so I think that’s awesome.
That was a good insight into all the work that goes on to produce a vlog. I had a right panic when the boat was drifting and Tim couldn't hold it back, but you were as cool as a cucumber Gaby 😂
Great vlog, an insight into how difficult Tim,s job can be. You were giving me a panic attack when Tim was struggling to stop the boat drifting away. It looked hard work but hoped you got to enjoy it!
And here we were thinking it was all fun and games. He really has to hustle to get all those things done. I saw Tim's video and then yours and it gives a different perspective.
Ahoy there Gaby! Love your take on things & showing all the hard work that goes into making these videos for us all to enjoy. My Aunt lived in Acle before moving to Norwich Elm Hill. It was always so peaceful there as the houses had only just been built back in the 60s. We used to go out on the broads a lot when I was little. Lovely memories. Hope you are enjoying Spain now!! x J x
Hi Gaby, I have been following Tim for a little while and I love his travel videos, and as a result I have started following you. I live in Peterborough not too far from the Fletton club which my husband is a member of. What I wanted to ask you is Tim really as patient as he seems? You two seem a very happy couple lifts my spirits just watching you both. Thank you so much.
Trying to get that shot mooring, reminds me of the time we got stuck in reeds, had to get a tow out. But the holiday was really great fun, loved our boating holidays, wish it could do more but at 79 I am not that mobile anymore to be getting on an off the boat. By the way I have already seen Tims video of the boating and really enjoyed it.
Hey Sally, just curious.I am 50 years old and also find out my body is starting to let me down a little bit lately for the first time. What happened to you that you are not able to get in and of the boat? What age did you start having health issue and my anxiety is kicking in, when looking around you, do you think most of your friends, etc have seen their health decline at what age really?
@@Sam_Leo1 I have had some hip issues for a few years now but the last couple of years I have stiffened up somewhat. I have just had my second cataract removed and it has made a great difference to my life and how I feel. At your age I was gadding about all over the place with my new partner with whom I have now been with for over 32 years.
Hi Gaby. A thing popped up telling me that I had to behave myself! I’ll try. Thank you for a great video, I enjoyed it. I have just subscribed, however, I have been watching Tim’s channel for a long time. I have already watched the boat video. I found it a bit strange watching a scene been shot which I had already seen, although that was very interesting. All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Just caught up with this one, you have made me laugh, Tim trying to pull the ropes was hilarious 🤣, hlsd yiu were moored dsfe, looks lovely on there, bit of a rough night by the looks of things but Casper looked like he was enjoying it. Thanks for sharing, love all the vlogs, can't wait to see yiur next ones, take care 😘 xxxx
Loved this vlog - some absolute classic moments! The bit after the boat nearly drifted off out to sea & Casper’s just calmly sat on the sofa in his life jacket 🤣 & can’t even imagine how much patience was needed to get those parking up shots .. Looked lovely when you were sat having a glass of wine watching the sunset .. Also where are your earrings from? x
Hi You both should be really proud of yourselves and big pat on the back , always great videos 📹, not easy doing what you do and not everyone can do it . Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you Gaby , this video has really given me a honest insight at the hard work that goes into Tim's video's ,and I have watched loads , I love them , and you 🙂
A mix of the trip and behind the scenes, a good job Tim booked a table😂, definitely a seasonal pub. Perhaps a canal trip next? I'm very near a canal and marina but never been on the canal though. Missed the live premiere as cat had to go to the vet, so spotted this late.
@@GabyStarbuckx on medication as got a UTI, she had it before so I knew what was her issue. I thought knowing Tim, you could all get a narrow boat, visit a city, stop in a luxury hotel a night, do other things in the area then cruise back so getting a few vlogs out of it so for example here, cruise to Chester, see the ancient city/walls (a live) the zoo, stay at The Grosvenor a night and do it in 2 or 3 nights. A narrow boat would have more overall but narrower space but not necessarily something you would do soon after this one, just a suggestion.
A great insight into Tim's vlogging & what we don't see! Found it fascinating as we know how much Tim puts into his videos. I had a giggle too at the boat horn used to disguise the naughty words, lol! Thought you made an awesome Captain btw! ❤
Hi Gaby, another great video. Interesting insight into Tim’s world. I’ve always wondered what Tim did for all living before embarking on the RUclips route? Thanks Jamie.
Great idea Gaby. And I was wondering, could you tell us how Tim manages which hotel, places he shoots?Does he take one idea after the other one?Or is it based on a book or a travel website? And also how long in advance, he books the hotel/flight?Is it 1 month, 1 year?It must be so hard to decide on a shooting planning? Also, how long does it take him to edit a video on average? And finally, what's his secret to be able to work that much, if I am not wrong, Tim releases 3 video per week?Plus the time to edit them(or he has a collaborator who edits for him)?It looks like he's working A LOT more than 40 hours a week?Is he superman lol?
Hi guys, i own a 32ft bayliner which we keep on a mooring in NZ, normally if we have a free weekend we will stay overnight on the mooring..fully self contained with solar so batts r always full, so we take out pre prepped meals and just heat them in the oven, put the line in as theres an abundance of table fish around the boat ..its brilliant, But the sleep is sublime ! A gentle rock that puts you in the deepest sleep ,
This is great to show how much works go into vlogs. I worked on dock and they probably have your car keys because you can't believe how may people loose them in river.
I did wonder this, I came straight to the comments to see if anyone had asked. That kind of makes sense. Wondering if anyone else knows ? Is this the reason why ? I’m not too sure how I would feel about someone else having my keys for a few days, but yes, I wouldn’t want to loose them in the drink.
I love you Gabby behind every decent man is an even stronger patient decent woman I love watching your Vlogs and I’ve only just discovered your channel now I feel a bit cheated but I can catch up😂❤
Loved this Gaby, you were so calm at the beginning when Tim was on the side and you were almost drifting off in the boat with the wind, I would of been panicking 😂😂😂 You looked so happy when you sat down with that glass of wine, perfect!!! x
Following Gaby now 👏👏! Funny seeing Tim from a different perspective. He looks so serious while driving 👍🏼. Loved the video and now Casper is next to have a channel! Safe travels

The bit after the boat nearly drifted off out to sea & Casper’s just calmly sat on the sofa in his life jacket 🤣 & can’t even imagine how much patience was needed to get those parking up shots .. Looked lovely when you were sat having a glass of wine watching the sunset ..
Also where are your earrings from? x
Glad you enjoyed it! Lovisa x
fantastic vlog gabby
Hi
You both should be really proud of yourselves and big pat on the back , always great videos 📹, not easy doing what you do and not everyone can do it .
Keep up the good work 👏
Thanks so much x
Tim looking very serious 😮
Thank you Gaby , this video has really given me a honest insight at the hard work that goes into Tim's video's ,and I have watched loads , I love them , and you 🙂
You're so welcome! Xx
A mix of the trip and behind the scenes, a good job Tim booked a table😂, definitely a seasonal pub. Perhaps a canal trip next? I'm very near a canal and marina but never been on the canal though. Missed the live premiere as cat had to go to the vet, so spotted this late.
Hope the cars ok Chris.. do you think a canal trip is a lot different?
Glad you enjoyed it! TBH we swear a lot so a lot of editing needs to happen because when your filming and things go wrong it just happens lol
Loved the video your braver than me getting on a boat I'm petrified of getting on any boat
I don’t think you’re alone.
A nice relaxing break. Let's hire a boat he said, it'll be fun he said 😂
😁
Just subscribed well that was an enjoyable video x
Lovely people to watch enjoy your company 🎉🎉I
Hi Gaby, another great video. Interesting insight into Tim’s world. I’ve always wondered what Tim did for all living before embarking on the RUclips route? Thanks Jamie.
He was in radio x
@@GabyStarbuckx Oh that's why he sounds so confident and speaks well, nice :-) Was he a journalist?A radio DJ?Or he had a talkshow?
Well it shows how hard work it is for Tim really enjoy it thanks x
You are AWESOME !!! ❤ 🙏 jomama- using my hubs tablet
Oh bless you. Travelling around the world and it being such hard graft lol
Hi guys, i own a 32ft bayliner which we keep on a mooring in NZ, normally if we have a free weekend we will stay overnight on the mooring..fully self contained with solar so batts r always full, so we take out pre prepped meals and just heat them in the oven, put the line in as theres an abundance of table fish around the boat ..its brilliant,
But the sleep is sublime !
Loved watching this xx
Great vlog nice boat
Thanks 👍
We really enjoyed this behind-the-scenes episode with Tim, please do one every month or two if you can. Great content!
