When they walked 2 st8 and the marlins pitcher couldn't throw a strike and I see dumb lindor swing at a first pitch with 2 runners no outs I was gonna break the tv ... I am sure lindor was told to stay cool and he didn't listen. The Mets need to mature and take this seriously because they are slacking . I wish we could cut their pay and see if they remember fundamental baseball.

Sometimes it just seems like they aren't playing with any fire until they get blown out. I hate seeing them all laughing in the dugout. yep, he really looked good and comfortable in the game, 1 pitch got away which resulted in 2 runs, some trouble in the 6th that sent him to the showers, otherwise his location was really good.
I’m sorry but in this time of year against a team playing out the string, he’s got to be better than that. Especially when you know your team has been struggling to score, you can’t leave a pitch over the middle of the plate like he did. In a couple of weeks he’s going to be pitching to tougher competition and he needs to raise the level of his pitching.
Walker looked fine. I think he found something when he started working in his curve more. I trust him in the post-season. More than Carrasco -- I love Cookie, and I know he's capable of being lights out. But I trust Walker more as a #4.

Hi guys, I’m trying to follow the Mets here from Europe. Since most of the games played are in the middle of the night here I like to watch them on mlbtv the next day. Unfortunately it happened to me a few times that the games are spoiled due to your RUclips channel because you put the score in the thumbnail of the video. Now I don’t mind that you put highlights on RUclips, but any chance you can fix this? Other teams don’t seem to do this just have “game highlights” in the thumbnail without spoiling anything. Thanks!
I know people like Guillorme but I've been saying all year that Escobar should be playing everyday. His bat especially a switching hitting threat is too good to leave out of the lineup for "matchups". Guillorme is a good guy to have on the bench as a pinch hitter or come in for defense if needed. I love the passion from Walker and the fight this team has.

The Mets need to be consistent, and fine if its a different player every night driving runs in, but the starting pitching has lost 3 games to the cubs, one to the A's, one to the marlins, two to the Nats, the "weak teams", yet Atlanta can dominate these teams, so where is the disconnect? Its the Mets pitching being inconsistent, and the hitting not coming thru. I have my view, you have yours, lets agree to disagree. I just dont see them doing well. If they do, I will the first to commend them and be there to cheer them on. I live 20 miles from Citifield (the field of broken dreams) and have been to 40 games there this year, plus went to DC to see them flop to the Nats . I want them to win and succeed, but I am a realist.

In fairness to others, Escobar is hitting MUCH better now than earlier in the season. It was reasonable to give at bats to Guillorme.
The platoon was very productive for most of the season. Escobar, even when he wasn't hitting well, always gives great ABs.
