Denbrock was aggressive in the first half. Thought Freeman put training wheels on the offense again and played not to lose in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th when he needed to get aggressive again it worked immediately. We are getting better and showed a glimpse. Enjoy it !!
Moronic comments as usual. If ND had lost there'd be ten times as many comments on here. ND beat a higher ranked team and atill nothing but negative comments. Go Irish
This. Valorous play, under-strength play, injured play. Inexperienced? Yes. Young? Yes. A number of players ON THE THIRD STRING, not quite up to the mark some times? Yes. And they STILL won, in the rain. As said well in another place, no matter what they do they CAN'T un-lose the NIU game. That was last month, and no matter what they do they can't change it. React to what happened today. Go Irish!
@@007ndc I saw one of your comments from 11 months back where you said the OC was falling apart and that USC will hang 50 on ND. Oh, by the way ND hung 28 on USC 48-20. Moronic comments!
You guys said, the o-line isn’t good, that they could hide them with a running QB. That to me points to the limitation of the overall offense. Running lanes very tight, pass pro mediocre…can’t trust the offense cause this triaged line, which needs to get better (and better) every week. Still though, awesome game and happy for the win!
Regaridng the person’s question about the injury bug. All i know is, before Balis, ND was always riddled with inexplicable injuries every year. During Balis’ time at ND, there were significantly less injuries. Since he’s left, it seems there is an increase in injuries. I know correlation doesnt necessarily mean causation, but it’s one hell of a coincidence.
Felt cautiously optimistic after the game (while still obviously frustrated at certain things). And then I watched Georgia/Bama... All my worries and stress about this ND season simply evaporated after watching those two schools play. Hope for the best for ND this season, but the quality discrepancy is so vast it's uncomfortable to even think about.
Well, I’m overjoyed that Notre Dame won, I am sad that we all thought this was a playoff team, considering we have a quarterback that is “ work in progress” I’m just not sure why we took a one year rental quarterback that wasn’t a complete package coming in. I have been a Riley, Leonard supporter, but watching this team play on both offense and defense is quite apparent. We are not going to compete for Anytime national championship. I hate saying I would like to throw this season away, but if I thought throwing this season away might give us more opportunities for championships in the future I would. I would rather bring in a quarterback, not named Steve Angeli, to develop them at this point and look towards the future. Watching other football games this weekend, including even the Hoosiers, I felt longing for a cohesive offensive and defensive structure and a coach that understands the game.
Kris Mitchell clearly can't raise his level of play and has not been productive at all. Oben is another bust of a transfer. ND has to do better in the transfer portal.

Happy for the win but injuries are worrisome

2nd half offense was concerning

The Louisville guys were dropping like flies too. Perhaps it had something to do with the turf.
ND gives me PTSD
White pants green jerseys were money
I agree. I haven’t been a fan of the green jerseys in the past, but with the white pants, they looked great!
Slight Oakland A’s vibes with gold instead of yellow
Trying to figure out why Denbrok is better than Parker or Reese.

Offense looks kind of vanilla. Seemed like they were trying to keep from losing at times.
Morrison did not look good.
He did on that sack
Andre, relax, it’s just a game. I’ve been an ND fan way before you were born.
Wow, so he’s human .
He was hurt.
10 road games and 2 neutral site games.
Home games suck
Not good enough!
Watching Notre Dame football is a psychological experiment.
''SERENITY NOW ! ''
