The leadership Xavier Watts showed in that game. It was awesome to be at that game seeing it. He had three 4'th down stops in that game. I think he showed why he won the Bronko Nagurski award last year, and he also is keeping himself and the team grounded and focused. It helps when you have a Captain that admits there are mistakes that need to be cleaned up.
@rjturbo3371 September has been boring without y'all on schedule. Also, for your boy, it helps that not many know about him like they do Watts. Teams know him now, and they don't dare to throw his way. The cool thing is I got an autographfrom him.
Jason Garrett talked about Louisville defensive coordinator the entire game. I would have thought he was a Louisville coverage radio. He talked down the entire game and he doesn’t it every game he covers Notre Dame.
40 yrs young. A life long golden domer. Watched A LOT of ups and downs. Haven't really remembered of such an up and coming group being so highly touted. ESPN?! calling for Notre Dame in playoffs - definitively - after the a&m win. Which .... Even with the absence of a QB, went to Kyle field and came out with a win. Minus the young o line ... It should've been more of a reload. Been high on Freeman as head coach. Recruiting, coaching, relatable with the players...but as of these last few games. It's kinda going down. Idk why Leonard was brought in. With all Angeli had proven ... Whether brought in or as a starter. He has proven himself. Period. Even if not .... These highly touted QBs that came in... Minchey..carr... Start one of them. The fact Leonard is being used more as a RB.... He's not Jayden Daniels. Yes his running has got us some scores and first downs.... But relying on just that. He's inaccurate. His reads are off...etc. good kid I'm sure. But the fact he smiles on the sideline when he failed and or we are losing .... Kinda urks me. We have top rbs. Leonard running should be a last resort. And barely getting by....losing to NIU... Smh. We have to hope .. a&m, Louisville, army... Navy.... USC keep winning. And ND runs the table. Because just winning these games aren't going to impress anyone.
Bottom line: ND has all kinds of problems on the OL. They need to continue to find ways to work around that until the OL gels, ... but getting an OL to gel is difficult when you keep having more players go down. It's a rough situation. Hopefully ND can navigate it.
I noticed Freeman was upset after the game very sloppy to many mental mistakes and they still won... Which tells me alot they can Win it out even with the current QB .

Notre Dame needs to bench Riley Leonard and start Brady Quinn or Tony Rice. We could go undefeated this year!☘️ like Tony rice already won us a national championship idk y we ever benched him.
unimpressive win for ND. They might make the playoffs but won't go far They could easily lose to USC. Don't expect a NC as long as Freeman is Head Coach, Expect at least one embarrassingly bad loss every year. So far it has been Oklahoma State, Marshall, Northern Illinois and a horrifically bad Stanford.
What this guy said. Louisville was honestly the better team out there last Saturday (I'm a Notre Dame fan). They outperformed the Irish in every statistical category. They completely shut down our offense for most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Their defense was _flying_ to the ball on every play, holding Leonard and our three primary RBs to a mere 117 yards. Shough picked us apart with his arm; some of his passes had me wishing we had him on our team. The only reason Louisville lost this game is because they put the ball on the ground in terrible positions, giving Notre Dame some very short fields. Had there been another 3 - 4 minutes of clock at the end of regulation, I think it likely this game would have gone to OT. And with the way our D was gassed by the end of that game, OT would likely have been the death-knell for us.
@@Zapp__Brannigan as A Louisville fan I’m disappointed but agree with you but it’s also cuz Louisville let northern dame score more in the first quarter which gives them an advantage on possession
congratulations on another victory. greetings from germany

Was great to see Notre Dame win. Not pleased to hear the announcer talk over the Alma Mater.
It is amazing that Shough is playing his 17th year of college football. Amazing. (This message brought to you by the AARP)

Fastest way for Notre Dame to lose fans and viewership - put the game on Peacock.
No it’s not. Lol 😂

Good upload. For some reason there is a high pitched ringing coming from the video. Not sure what that's about
We’re trying to get this troubleshooted - thanks for pointing it out! How did you watch the video? Phone, tablet, computer, etc.
