    YES!!! orange is where it's at!! 😋👍. Some of the most interesting and memorable wines I drink these days are orange/amber wines. I still find it a hard sell for my wine circle. I often get strange sideways faces when I bring them to a gathering 🤷‍♂. PELEOKERISIO!!......one of my favorite finds of the past year! 🤗😋😋. One of the more original orange wines I've yet had. A local shop near me has it, think I'll go get some today. Local west coast wine makers are getting better and better at making serious Orange!. If people want traditional old school Orange, Georgia is the best place to start. Thanks for covering this 😉👍

    I have an orange wine from Arizona made with malvasía Bianca. Caduceus Vineyards wines seem to be quite delicious.

    I love orange wines. In Poland we've got several outstandings producers which made this style. But for me, numer 1 of oragnes is urugwayan Proyecto Nakkal Simple Pet Nat Orange. This is skin-contact blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Muscat Ottonel.

    The valley where I live in SW France is locally famous for its orange wines, made from local grapes like Marsanne, Rousanne, Mauzac Blanc and Bourboulenc. It's an acquired taste, but matches really well with local mountain cheeses.

    I’m a fan of well made wine, orange included. But I’ve unfortunately had many bottles of wine that were not quality and were being passed off as orange. There needs to be some guardrails for this category IMHO. As for wines to try next time how about VDNs, Ports, Madeira and Marsalas? Cheers and great video as always!

    • @Winefolly
      @Winefolly  23 дня назад +1

      Great points! The category is improving I think due to better knowledge sharing and education on what is (and more importantly, what isn’t) orange wine.
