Why take the time to add that piece to the speed square? You can just use the speed square as a guide without it.

@@plywoodworking I disagree because you are still using the square to guide the saw, so the extra T track is useless imho. But if it works for you then have at it. Thanks

One day you'll be aware why not wear gloves when drilling....

Not only drill but all powertools, i really sorry about that why using gloves only on left hand. I had accident few year ago, my thumb still hurt until now.

Sad to see that, but your tumb will not help you the day when your glove get cought by the drill bit and your whole hand is spinning around the chuck ☹️

I try without glove but feel hurt, with or without for now i always work be careful. Learn by experience.
