You can make cheese crips in the oven too if you’re making a lot. Just use a silicone mat on the baking tray. Parm crisps would be great for potatoes also!
You should cut the potatoes so it cooks evenly and way faster, the outsides getting cooked the entire time and gets way over cooked if they arent cut in even pieces. Love yall tho 😂❤
I use a hand mixer or my kitchen aid stand mixer for my mashed potatoes. If you want perfect potatoes buy a food mill or potato ricer! They make THE BEST potatoes ever! Love the crunchy cheese!!!

Kwisten, I do the keto diet and i make similar “cheese crisps” if you get a large cookie sheet with parchment you can buy thinly sliced mild cheddar and bake it in the oven at 400° till crisp. If you add a little pink salt they taste like cheese itz 😁❤️

If you put the mash into a caserole dish and cover in cheese for like 20 it will crisp on top and stay warm!
Also great to mix cheese with the mash first then add the cheese on top and bake till crisp
