xD This video is golden! Your editing skills are off the charts John! ^__^
I hope you know that you have to book a tour now, right? I want to see the Nimble Cymbal!! And just to let you know how serious I am with that I am going to shock you with the news now that I actually have tickets reserved to see Ryosuke Kiyasu live next year - for the second time XD. I've seen him once already and the dude knows what he's doing. You never know what will happen but my first experience was personally very rewarding for me :)
If you want to hear him 'actually' drum look up his band Sete Star Sept [Deadly Smile is a nice song to hear him go berserk behind the drums - it's also way under a minute. But there are also a couple of concerts on RUclips].
I think you actually have to thank Germany and the US for this kind of performance art, this is not a Japanese phenomenon ;) Ryosuke also started doing this in the USA and Canada [he's been doing this for 20 years now and has visited 55 countries! It's a pretty mad world but I for one am happy things like this exist ^^]

Hello there Passio! Oh my, you did shock me with that information :D Thank you for all the valuable information - i will check out that band you mentioned! I read that he was in a hardcore band before? I saw some interviews and he seems like a cool guy. I just have trouble wrapping my mind around this performance art thingy :D Being raised in a slightly-conservative thinking family might not be helping me here, but i've been able to open my mind to more and more things as i'm older (also thanks to this channel!).
Thank you for your kind words and i'm glad you enjoyed the video :) Enjoy the show next year and who knows...maybe i'll pay his show a visit somewhere down the road as well :D
