Yeah, the drummer switchups have been crazy lately. Greyson Nekrutman replaced him in Sepultura. Greyson was drumming for Suicidal Tendencies and ST just recruited Jay Weinberg!

O Eloy vai ser o último baterista do Slipknot, pois quando sair um álbum com as composições dele, caso saia da banda um dia, o seu substituto terá dias sombrios. Talvez seja esse um dos motivos do sepultura ter anunciado o fim da banda.

Can you explain the benefit of the swivel technique? It seems like a speed technique but I'm a guitar player so I can't relate in this context. Thank you
It lets you play these fast parts while saving some stamina.You use a bigger variety of muscles this way = less overall strain! And sometimes it just comes down to preference 😁 Lots of others prefer the heel-toe and some even play quick doubles alternating on left/right pedal and make it sound like they're playing super fast!

Eloy is a great drummer, no doubt. But Joey is still the best. Remember, Joey wrote the drums for all those great Slipknot songs you love. On top of that, I still think his talent is unmatched. Eloy is the current talent, great drummer. But Joey is the OG.
