- Here are most of my thoughts after skating the EE.3 Shadows by USD. It took me about 3 months to get around to editing this but my thoughts pretty much go unchanged. Footage got messed up so we're stuck with a stream recording for this one.

I loved my Xsjados. I skated them for a few months after starting on M12s. It took a while to get used to riding on top of that massive soul plate, but it helped me understand grinding so much better than any other boot. I also agree on the cuff. The single piece is so nice, lots of support and response
"the feeling of being locked in, but still sort of free" I totally felt the same way. I was never able to put it into words, but it was so predictable while also being so forgiving that it felt like you could do every grind. I hope to try the EE3s this year. Great review dude!
I just bought them from you. Love them!
can't wait to get your opinions on law's standard skates
I have the 3.2's. I absolutely love them. I did make a few minor modifications;
I swapped the insoles out for flat footprint insoles because I hate any arch support. I only have the liner laced from the ankle upwards with shorter laces to make getting them on and off a bit less hassle and I swapped the fluids out for Oysi mediums. I also made some thinner heel shocks from neoprene rubber because sometimes I like to have a flatter feel to my skates depending on what i'm doing.
They're only skates i've owned that don't give me numb toes and that I can wear all day. I cant see myself skating anything else now!
my e3 sessions are the most comfortable and creative i've ever been skating. blown through 2 pairs of souls already and just got a third second hand. If they fix that ONE issue I would only ever ride shadows.
"Get those slaps in!" Great review, Tri. Extremely comprehensive. Wish more reviews were like this. I just came from Brandon Drummond's review of these skates and I think between your review and his....there is nothing left to know about the Shadows for prospective buyers. Still gotta try yours on one day :D
This is great! Love the look of these skates the most.
I love it
Rad vid! Good seeing you at Bittercold!
The new eclipse liners are really good , I just got the ones in black but really heavy . I use mine with 1.0 souls , but it 's just so heavy and bulky, I admit I only use them recreationally . To be honest I really wish Eugen would have stayed with the Carbon / free line and went another route : a stiffer USD carbon with a supportive plastic cuff and replaceable liner. something similar what the Iqon AG10 is now, but in EE flavor .
I love my shadows but I wish I had gotten some v1 cuffs when they were still in stock. I’m used to the v2 but that cuff just seams so much better
Nice.!!!
💙❤️💚🧡💛
I’m really wanting to back to Xsjado, really miss them
excellent.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I always always always wanted to try shadows with a real cuff on the. That and the ones I had were what size 8? I was a size 9 T_T
Really wish USD gave the xsjado more love
Where can I get these sweet, sweet buckle protectors?
@phlebcorp on ig
that tricks youve done in those skates are impossible in any skate let alone shadows ha
