Jukka playing those drums like he was about to murder them. His energy was contagious. Too bad insomnia got him bad but he's still with the band working behind the scenes.

@@PHDarren Yes I have heard that too. I have played drums for around 60 years now, and I agree completely with Kai, Jukka does hit harder. I read somewhere that he knew that Wacken was one of his to last professional performances and he was extra motivated. I cant even begin to imagine how much adrenaline they all had pumping in their systems with that big a crowd!

That's why the song landed on the official channel. Floor asked us, which song we liked the most and the answer she got was Everdream, so she had it put on the official Nighwish channel.

The last half of that song between Floor belting that whole last part combined with The Human Metronome Jukka killing the drums is so powerful. I can’t keep my legs from trying to keep the double bass timing going (I fail miserably but I try each time). Marko is a crazy good vocalist and he and Floor’s harmonies are so great. Agree with comments below Shudder Before the Beautiful was the show opener in Wembley and Tampere (can do both as both great).
My favorite NW song: the one that's playing! 😜 Y'all know what I'm talking about!
Ever Dream is a Nightwish classic, up there with Nemo and Ghost Love Score. It was one of the first songs I ever heard by them, and I was hooked instantly. And Floor, in her usual way, brings something to it that's all her own. That key change on the final chorus is crazy - how many people can belt at that register?
I don't know who first said it, so I don't claim originality for the following sentiment. But regarding the drummers;
Kai is an outstanding, technically proficient, and amazingly talented drummer.... but Jukka WAS the drums!.
And this is probably my favorite Nightwish song as well. It was one of my favorites as the studio version by Tarja... and then Floor just belts this out and supersedes the studio version. This performance right here was the absolute convincer for me that Floor could not only bring Nightwish back to the glory days of Tarja, but also take them to all new levels and beyond.
Oh yes it's catchy! Marko and Floor are super awesome in this! It is a Nightwish army favourite!

She fools every youtube reactor with "doing something a little softer". lol. The extremes in this song were Marco holding that note like a boss and Floor being able to sing that high without using her head voice. I don't think I ever heard a woman belt that high before.
The Greatest Show on Earth is a must-see. It's pretty darn long, but it's an absolute must at some point or the other!

Jukka on the drums especially on this show was fckn epic! This is def on my top 5 list from Nightwish.

There is a video of the same song at the Download Festival 2016 with Kai at the drums if you want to see if there is any or much differens between Jukka's and Kai's way of playing it. I don't think there is, actually. One thing that is very noticeable at Download is that Kai looks very happy, especially towards the end when he is banging away at full chat, almost in a Wintersun way. Cheers / B.

And what to comes Kai in drums, he is really technical, must be one of the skilled drummers in Finland. He has said in one interview tho that Jukka is/was such a showman on drums, so he need to work on his skills on those areas aswell ;)
Hi drummer is Jukka he hits harder thank Kai and had to retire due to insomnia but both great drummers :-)
Agreed about Jukka! Kia is amazing but Jukka is a better fit. He throws his entire body into every hit!

This is one of my favourite band evolution songs - you can listen to it live with Traja, then Annette and the Floor and it is great for shoing how the sound chnaged over time.

You’re right, it’s very catchy, yet also very simplistic in its structure and delivery compared to the rest of the Nightwish library. The song shows off her pure belting power, and It’s the vocals of Floor and Marko that highlight the song.

Jukka will remain in music history as one of the most underrated drummers (he is finnish)! He is as good as any famous drummer but big markets (U.S. & Britain) will keep him in back row

React to Dimash kudaibergen "SOS" and "sinfull passion". In Sinful passion you will hear him hold the tone for about 22-25 sec. But I recomand SOS as first reaction cos of all his voices and range (a bit of it). He is called the 6 octavian man! Both live perfomances.

Great reaction braa. If you ever wanna hear Marcos voice doing some heavy metal in a real cool way with lonng notes try Nightwish doing Master Passion Greed. It's heavy thrash metal in it's purest form. It's wayy too much for most Nightwish fans but it rocks out pretty intensely. Keep up the great reactions!

You seemed stunned that nightwish can do a "normal" song. Yet still take it to a whole nothing level. An turn a "catchy" song into something epic. That is nightwish. That's why they sell out anywhere they go.

Somehow I just assumed you'd seen this one already! I started by thinking Kai was unbeatable on the drums, and technically it might be true, but I gotta say, Jukka does give it that showmanship factor. Oh yeah, she totally lies when she says "something softer". Everdream is amazing, and you can hear the crazy energy from the crowd in the refrain. In many ways its a very "straight up" song. Not a bad way to introduce someone to what nightwish is.
