India is one country No south and no north. Everything is same just point of view is different. 1. 1:11 South is more traditional .. north has gone through several changes because of foreign influences over last 1000 years. (south has better literacy .. they have kept their traditions alive)
2. 1:27 South climate can be very humid and is close to the equator so can be uncomfortable .. north has dry climate but has high temperature variation like 40+ degrees in summer and 0 or less degrees in winter, so different types of discomfort.
3. 1:50 True .. that Rice is more common in south .. but it is widely eaten in north as well, except the desert state of Rajasthan(my state) .. like 'Basmati Rice' (Long and separate grains, best for Biryani), the most famous rice variety around the world, is a north Indian crop. So, it's complicated.
4. 2:16 Yoga is everywhere.
5. 2:44 North is not a typical India .. it's certainly the typical image of India in the world's media .. but typical Indian traditions are alive in south more than the north.
6. 4:53 Sense of humor will always be a debatable thing .. northerners can laugh on themselves without taking much offense .. in south, people are more calm and relaxed but are still serious, like more disciplined so to say.
7. North has snowy mountains .. south has beaches .. it's personal choice.
Overall, these differences don't matter much to Indians per se .. as north and south are not homogeneous entities themselves .. dialects change every 30 km .. food changes every 50 km .. clothes change every 100 km ..
And we love these variations and are very proud of this infinite diversity .. it has gotten very deep in our DNA to celebrate our differences.

South india is more safe and also Literacy rates in the southern states is higher compared to north. South india has excelled in a number of key areas such as infrastructure, education, health, employment, eco-friendly etc. You can also see more forests and waterfalls in southern areas. Coming To North india, it have a lot of beautiful palaces, snow clouded mountains, deserts etc. Agriculture is mostly seen in north india. The barriers of communication due to language is less in North India as compared to south india. Both South india and North india are best with their own beauty.💙💙

And also geographically below tropic of cancer all are called as south part of India, maybe culture wise and for convenience for governance they have separated country into east , west , north, central, south and North East . But for international standards there is only north and south division due to geographically divide of subcontinent ( tropic of cancer).

Those state are between north and south but if you want to put these state in any one part either north or south. Then I would prefer they are south rather than north. Due to many similarities of south to these State ( goa, Maharashtra, Orissa). And my geography teacher itself taught like below tropic of cancer or vidhya and Satpura range everything will be south india. I already explained you that only for the convenience of governance the government split our country into north, central, west, east, south and northeast. The elephant one was amazing ... As i am an south indian.. I used to see elephants a lot .. Especially when there something special in temples .. A man will be riding the elephant from the top and walks we used to run to see the elephants .. Although I have never been able to sit ...
If you consider India, South and North parts are like two different worlds. If you consider North and South separately, even then each state differs from the other (especially North-east part).
What I hear from foreigners mostly if I mention India is curry, Taj Mahal and Bollywood. India is an Asian country, Indians are Asians and India is not only 'curry', 'saree', 'Taj Mahal' and 'Bollywood'. As every country owns its specialities, India does too. The first and foremost one is diversity. India is the live example for diversity in almost every way. Climate, food, architecture, dressing, demeanor, beliefs, ways of expression(numerous languages with many slangs), religions, casts, colour, customs, traditions, looks, arts(literature, music, dance,....), wildlife, forests, agriculture.. what not? But this doesn't mean Indians are separated by this diversity.
And nature, traditions, customs and cultures possess no standards for beauty. There can only be types. Every country has its own uniqueness. None of them are more beautiful and attractive than the others.
You can't part India as South and North. If you really want to, you must part each and every state.
