one of my favorite combinations is Robert Oster Ng Special in a Pilot falcon with an ef nib and when you flex it swells a nice orange line but when you let up its practically honey yellow color its so beautiful that and Rhorer & Klingner Helianthus too
I share your praise of Gena Salorino, Custom Nib Studio, (Gena uses they/them). It makes so much sense that Gena gave you that answer. They are a phenomenal person as well as phenomenal nib grinder. I have five of their grinds on my favorite pens. Shout outs for Kirk Speer and Matthew Chen as well.
These answers are so helpful. Every time I’m attending a pen show to which I’ve already signed up for a spot. There are, like you mentioned, people hanging around using my time to get their questions answered. I understand a quick question or two but time and focus are important. I feel bad for the nib ______ because they are always swamped. And if they are by themselves hardly get any time for themselves (lunch, bathroom, quiet). A couple things I think would help would be ) have a general time listed for a grind. I had no idea how long it takes to grind a needlepoint😮. Limited the number of pens to be ground. I followed a person at the Chicago Pen Show that had 4 nibs to be customized. That’s not gonna happen in a 30 time slot. Kirk, Gina, Mike, Damien etc are all amazing people. Love the show❤
When I send a pen out I pay for tracking so I know if arrives on time. I also pay to have shipping back to me to include tracking. If something goes wrong with shipping, it's the shipper who has control not the nib meister. Nor am I going to go cheap on shipping my precious pen. Harumph.
Love tuning in now and again Candace and Azizah! Thanks for the show!

I think someone who studies nibs and works on nibs or for a medicalish term Operates on nibs would be a Nibologist I thought that would be appropriate
