It's simple, Hillstream looks like a stingray and the kuhli looks like an eel. It's like buying a peaceful pocket sized version of those animals. Plus dojo loaches get decently big

Kuhlis are also quite social and active in the correct numbers and conditions with their special “Kuhli dance” being a sign they’re happy. They look like little eels to some making them appealing to those wanting a unique but small “serpentine” addition. Mine are always out munching and dancing and seldom hide, even when performing maintenance. A docile tank and ample numbers does wonders for them.

Literally just got 6 Hills and 6 kuhlis. It’s been 2 days. They are awesome.
The kuhlis are everywhere they don’t seem bother by anything. They keep playing in my air bubbles. They swim all over the tank. Front back top bottoms in between my wood and plants.
My hills are everywhere and I’m sure there is a pair forming. They keep following eachother and booping eachother. It’s so awesome to see.
The kulis colour is stunning. That bright yellow and black bumble bee / snake pattern is so cool.
The hills have stunning blue tails. I’ve got dark black hills with hundreds of little spots on them and I have others that are brown with larger white spots. You can tell who’s male and female. And the sit on the front glass.
The kuhlis little whiskers are so cute. They have me in love with them from the second I saw them in the shop.

Haven't had hillstreams, but kuhlis are delightful. To get them to be social, you need to have 3-4 of them. They are personable and fun to watch, and you don't have to have a huge tank to keep them. I love clowns, but I don't have a big enough tank for them to grow into. I have kuhlis in all three tanks in my house. My kids love them, too.

Hillstreams are broad group of well over 100 individual species with varying patterns and even unique colors as well. When in a peaceful tank with plenty of their own kind, they are quite active and their little territorial displays are hilariously benign. They have a unique shape and seeing their little hearts pumping against the glass is awe inspiring. They also remain rather small minus a few species which makes them perfect biofilm munchers for smaller tanks.

Hill streams are like a sting ray and if you have a bulk head they go crazy in the current and the kuli is like a unicorn you might not see it for months but when you do they put on a show. They're like a pup doing the zoomies

They are tiny fish hillstream cleans and looks like a stingray khuli loaches are like smaller dojo loaches and dwarf chain loaches are best for snail problems you can have way more small fish instead of big fish.
