interesting workaround for the Dragon drive; I have the same work to do on all the mechanical parts. All wearing parts have now been delivered. - While watching, especially during the assembly of the idler, I almost went crazy - you used far too coarse pliers to clip the snap ring. Normally this is quicker to do. Nevertheless, all very helpful! Thanks!!
I learned that it is possible to replace idler in place if remove both reels before that. And that is the only pliers with straight ends which work good for that task as the also has a good grip. Smaller pliers are to slick.
The BOM for this tape deck is probably as big as the one for a Boeing 747? My God what a masterpiece!
I admire your work. Master of golden hands.

What type of Grease you use for plastic parts. And oil for the metal parts?
Отличная работа !
Is it 3mm 2.7v white led you’re replacing the bulb with or which one?
Hay que tener mucha paciencia.
What type of grease you use on plastic parts, also which type of oil you use for metal parts please.
Silicon based for slow rotation and oil for sewing machines for parts with a high load.
