Moves look so much better in longer boats! Glad to see there’s the beginning of a move away from so much aerial trickery. Kids these days don’t know what it was like learning to cartwheel in an Acrobat 270 😂
@@jonathanrichard1919 haha the stunt bat!! the most unstable boat on the planet! ive given up these days through injuries etc and a mega beating on the severn bore a few years back... handsurfing backwards into a large tree type beater after already losing a nice set of ainsworths 3/4 mile further back...! a mate had a cut down perception reflex, that was interesting...
sad times with Nottingham #sercosucks when I last worked there a couple of summers ago no one left in management had a background in whitewater, and none of the guides or other employees had a say on how the course was, all resources went into the wipeout course/skytrail, the wakepark disappeared and the course lost its mojo. There where some attempts to make it better but nothing past the many layers or the of Serco onion
as a guide at the time my wage was cut twice without me getting any notice. just noticed I was earning less, countless storys of mismanagement in that time. Would be awesome if the course could be independent from the rest of the centre these days
I honestly can't believe you aired out a boat that size. You are an animal! Every time I watch your videos I have two simultaneous realizations: 1) I suck at kayaking 2) I need to get better at kayaking! thanks mate, great video as always! Love from the southeast USA!
Boat looks good, will give it a go at Paddle in the Park. I'm more annoyed that the course has been closed (give or take the odd day) since August without any sort of recognition from the centre and no one giving a coherent reason (bacteria levels, the railings at the bottom, the flow is too high, it really depends on what time of day you ask). As one of the first posts said there is no point of contact to raise problems with. I underlined the official reason which I am convinced could be removed as a problem.
Rough guess on the course setup, they're totally focused on slalom, not freestyle or river running. It's usually heaving with pointy boaters, week in week out.
Hi. I am a man with 188cm (6.16ft), +-85kg (190lb) and shoe size 45 (11). So i am between M and L. Which Ozone would be perfect for me? We have no big water and no big waves here, so i will mostly paddle "flat water" with Old School Moves and will have some fun in eddy lines... With the M i´m near the max. weight limit and with L to much volume maybe, to bring the bow and stern under the water! Cartwheels impossible...?
The Ozone is often compared to the Jed, while it looks more similar to the Loki - which is a quite neglected boat in reviews and comparisons and hard to find in demo days. How would you see the Loki compared to the Ozone?
Does anyone know which upright bars are on the truck? My horizontal bars are a similar shape to those on the video, & I'm not sure whether i need a specific upright bar to fit them

Richard Repper the feeling of getting 4 or more ends in an old boat was unbeatable - Doesn’t even feel like you’re doing anything in new boats!
270???? try an extra foot and the original acrobat.... good surfer once squashed the back end a bit flatter ;)
@@thedude669 yeah you!

So good to see cartwheels and splits with a long boat. Remember me the good old time with my Inazone and Dominatrix on the Pyrénées rivers.
Good luck with that feedback form dude #itjustgoesinthebin #nofsaregiven #makehppepicagain

Welcome back beautiful cartwheels, we ve been missing you since the dominatrix ages
literally listen to this track whilst kayaking or going to kayak, sick to see it in a vid!

Mmmm, I think so for winter?
Ina-Zone and Pro-zone series were great boats i remember them coming out :)
So many good memories of those two boats!
This ozone looks right up my street.
Rafting with dance super, love from 🇮🇳
About to get that boat. Weigh in with 82kg you think the L will be too large to get vertical comfortably?
Looks really fun.
Looks good mate
Reach for your paddle. Touch the atmosphere!

The Loki is more similar to an older style slicer, where the ozone is just a lengthened play boat really.
so good to see proper slicey ends....cartwheelsteez.
Ben, where do you mount your GoPro and with what? You're perspective appears different than helmet mounts.
I think Bren has mounted the gopro on a David Bain for this video. Maybe give that a try?
I love kayaking in beautiful nature, untouched rivers, birds, etc. and that's why I need a huge 4x4. Ridiculous.
Hell yes... Want! Hurley's on 3 Bren ... Just saying....
On my way!
If old school slicey boaters could see what you were getting in that boat, it’s nuts man
What changed in Nottingham? I was there last spring. How is troll hole now?
Tuisku Äänismaa doesn’t exist now on the winter setup
Troll hole is gone 😥
You ever gonna take the Loki out?!
Nice n slice dude 👍
#bringBackTheOffice
The huge wave undsd the bridge that is
How is it with just stern squirts on eddy’s and stuff like that?
Good mate, you can just whip the nose up. Will post a video on insta off that!
How does it compare to the Loki Bren?
So much better. Faster, better down river, can do all the tricks not just old school ones. I wasn't a fan of the Loki but I love the Ozone
I bet you didn’t know there was a murder in that derelict building behind you 😂
I’m from Warrington, these things are normal

I would assume they are the thule kayak stacker... 520-1 I believe is the product code
